I actually had a brief worrisome episode with Theodore this morning; he occasionally gets food stuck on his front teeth (this has happened twice that I know of) and paws his mouth, trying to get it free. I thought he was choking, but he wasn't making any gagging noises or acting in a panicked manner. he remained still briefly while I tried to pull it loose, but that's asking too much of him at this point.
He scrambled free and went into his pigloo, came out shortly and started to eat his hay. I guess he managed on his own well enough. From now on though, I am checking his pellets for extra-large morsels and breaking them into much smaller pieces. I just lost a piggie, I am not losing another one so soon from carelessness on my part!

I am so glad he was alright love, your heart goes in your mouth when you see something like that doesn't it? Please give the little man a cuddle from his Auntie Jo Jo because it probably scared him a little bit too.

Gar! I'd be totally freaking out. No matter how long we have piggies, and how many things we experience, we never get used to those episodes. I'm so glad he was okay
