We have several new members, so it seems like a good time to give a short primer on some of the posting options on the forum.
When posting a new through, there are three choices: Add Poll, Add Event and Add Attachment. They are easy to follow, and let you start a poll, note a special event, or add a file, photo or whatever you would like to attach to the post.
On existing posts, there is a LIKE option with a thumbs up icon, and there is an edit option. Editing allows us to add on to an existing post, rather than starting a new post for a different idea. Since some people have slow modem access to the Internet, and it takes a lot time to upload each post, we encourage people to edit their existing posts instead of creating new posts, until others have commented on or liked the post. That limits the number of posts the slower modems have to load, before the member can read and comment.
Editing also allows you to go back to the very first page of your thread, and edit the title of the thread. A thread that starts with a pregnant pig, can have the title edited as the babies are born, grow up, etc. The edited title appears on the first post after the title is edited, so edit the title before posting the new pictures of the adorable babies
