A very warm welcome love, please keep us updated. Hugs JO xx sorry I don't know how to post a forum! But can you help?? My sis is pregnant. She has been acting weird all day! Raising her back end & grunting/whimper! Now her poop is soft (like a pile of micro tiny micro dog poo) & she has a tad bit of blood spots. I put paper towels in her cage. To make sure its soft and so I can change it every so often. I'm super scared! She was a rescue piggie! She came from teens who housed her with a male. She normally loves me & now doesn't want me near. Also she was getting on her pigloo so I took it out. But have her cage covered with a blanket.

Hello and welcome This is our section on pregnancy: wheekers.proboards.com/thread/7303/pregnancy-birthThis is the Guinealynx section on pregnancy: www.guinealynx.info/reproduction.htmlI've never had a pregnant guinea pig, so don't know all the symptoms. I hope these articles answer some of your questions. Good luck! In the top, right hand corner of each forum section there is a "Create Thread" option. Just select that. You have a place to enter the topic such as "Is My Piggy Pregnant," and to post all your questions and concerns Once you post that thread, if you wish to add to it, again, top right corner has an EDIT feature. Just go to your last entry in that post, select EDIT, and you can add to that post

Welcome to Wheekers birdygirl. It sounds like your piggy is in urgent need of a visit to the vet with those symptoms, regardless of whether she's pregnant. A guinea pig labour is usually pretty quick (under an hour) and shouldn't produce blood before any babies arrive, or squishy poops. So it could mean she's in difficulty or that she has some unrelated illness which needs treatment. Hope she's okay.
