Great song (I didn't like The Smiths at all when they were current, but have come to appreciate them) and I really like this version of it.
Another song I like (even though it's got all Morrissey's posturing and flower swinging that used to irritate me so much!).

Something a little different: Enya's Orinoco Flow, except it's a dance mix!

It's not a song I like, and the dancy beat didn't really enhance it for me, but it's an interesting idea!

I don't like the dance beat. I liked the original well enough. I did like the sun pulsing with the beat of the bass

Gordon Lightfoot passed away a few days ago, and I wanted to post a song from him- although a lot of his songs are a bit melancholy, this one has an upbeat tempo and gives me a bit of cheer although it may not be a happy tune:

I don't even know that one, the career of Gordon Lightfoot has apparently eluded me!

I don't even know that one, the career of Gordon Lightfoot has apparently eluded me! He must not be as popular across the pond. Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald is one of his most famous tunes; usually when the radio plays a song by him it's likely to be that one. He does have numerous other winners, but with typical radio they tend to play that one. Here's another one that I don't recall getting air time, but it's another upbeat song:

I remember that one. I'm not a fan of country music, but like him for some reason.
