Shades, how did you get the picture to post? I'm still floundering. I'm making progress, but really, really slowly. I was about to take some screenshots to show you how I did it but the toolbar with all the message options doesn't seem to be there any more. I tried to change the theme but there's only a festive one. Strange! Tagging Bean

That's the problem I've been having. The links you and Baz show aren't showing on my computers, and once I think I've figured out something, I can't find the same page, again? Thanks for posting the Burlap People picture, as I could only figure out how to post the link.

Sorry, what's missing? I seem to have the usual options in reply, but usually use quick reply so may have missed something.

Not missing from the Wheekers tool bar, but from the SmugMug tool bar. I could only find a way to post the link to the burlap people picture. Then Shades found a way to post the picture from that link. Now he can't find the options he had when he chose that link. It's SmugMug, not Wheekers. I'm sure it's all totally doable, and I just haven't figured it out, yet.
I've been trying to copy and paste the picture, but it doesn't work for Paint or SmugMug. I don't have anything to paste after I copy? Still working on that.

Ah right, I thought something was missing here and was getting worried I'd have to do something - phew! We got our first snow of the season. I hope these pictures get you into the holiday spirit, Jo We had 4 inches when we went to bed last night, and I don't think we got more than another half inch before the snow stopped. Hubby is clearing our drive and walk, and our neighbors.

Oooh pretty! Hpe it didn't take hub too much work to clear the areas he needed to sort out.
Areas of the UK have had a foot of snow, but we've just had a few flurries, nothing has settled. The kids were a bit disappointed having anticipated a day of snowman building and snowball fights (it was predicted to hit us as of a few days ago, but moved south)!
Did you get any snow, Jo?

Hubby said it took him about half as long to do both drives and walks, not having to clear off and move the cars, so he was quite happy about that. He got to do a better job on both drives, too, as he wasn't getting tired from all the car clearing and jockeying, and even stopped to visit with another neighbor, and help him get his snowblower running.
I asked you about the amount of snow you got, in another thread. Too bad they only got a dusting. If they had gotten more snow, do they have any place to slide down a hill?
Our snow may melt tomorrow, not sure how warm it's supposed to get, but it doesn't take much. Then the next storm arrives on tomorrow night, so hubby will work from home Tuesday and maybe Wednesday. The nice thing about being a software engineer, you can work from anyplace that has wifi.

I absolutely ADORE those first and third pics! Something about the different colors just balances the whole thing out perfectly!

Those pictures were taken using the Samsung Note8. I also took some with the old Note4, as that one has Facebook on it. The 8 definitely does pictures better than the 4 does.

Sorry darlings, but the photos sent to me have come out all funny. I can imagine how lovely the p0ccies are though Piggles love. We haven't had any snow here but it has been a nightmare up country though apparently. I hope you are alright Bean sweetie and not snowed in. Where is that happy medium again?
Hugs JO xx

No snow for us either, Jo! I thought you might have had some from looking at the weather forecast.
Yes 3piggles, we have some good hills for sledging if we do get snow! About five years ago, a big local sports shop closed down and we bought a few sledges for about 99p each (we only had one sledge before, and used sheets of correx too, which worked excellently!). Since then we've had no decent snowfall at all and they're still sitting in the shed, all shiny any new!

Sorry Shades, didn't see your post before I replied.
I'm just looking it up on the proboards help forum. Is it the same if you load the page using a different browser?
There's lots of chuntering about plugins - I'm not sure if they're saying it might be a conflict between something you've installed on your computer and the proboards software, or if I should have done an update - I'll keep reading!

I'm using Windows 10 and my browser is Firefox. I've not knowingly installed any new apps lately. I only have the festive theme to choose from. Is that the same for everyone? Bean

I've just checked on Chrome and all the toolbar options are available. So, it's something that happens when I'm using Firefox. It is the same on other Proboards sites, so I'll look at the Support Board to see if there's any leads there.

Ah, I used to use firefox, but stopped using it a few months back as it wasn't working well with a couple of websites. I forget now which ones they were...
Glad it's working on Chrome anyway.
We've only ever provided the one theme here - it has all the piggy icons on and a chosen colour scheme. I change the banner at the top a few times a year as we have seasonal ones to pick from, but that's all I change, so it's not a seasonal theme as such, just a different banner!
Is the festive banner hurting your eyes?! If so I can make a plainer version of the forum with whichever default colours are offered and have the banner stay the same on that one. It probably won't have all the custom images on though (at least not for now, possibly I could do that when I have a bit more time).

P.S. If so, tell me what colour scheme would be your preference - blues, greys or greens etc.

I have the same basic Wheekers page, until I start a reply or a new thread. Then the whole toolbar shows for me. Sorry you can't see the snow pictures, Jo. They would give you some holiday cheer. Hubby has really gotten into decorating for the seasons, so the burlap people will be back next year, as will the holiday decorations. Maybe I'll have all of this sorted by then, so you can see the pictures, Jo
