I'm getting 2 guinea pigs. I love them. Just have one question:
Im getting them at my dad's. Is it okay if they are left almost everyday in the week until the evening? It's not literally everyday but is that fine?

Welcome to Wheekers!
Guinea pigs are social animals, so having company of their own kind is what will make them happiest. If they have a a friend, a good amount of space and a few things to do (I'm talking simple things like upturned cardboard boxes with doorways cut out, mounds of hay or cardboard tubes stuffed with hay) they will certainly be able to keep themselves entertained for a few hours every day.
And if you coming home means mealtime for them, I bet you will get a jolly nice wheeking welcome from them too!
If you're not staying overnight, would your dad be happy to check their hay and water in the morning? That's the only issue I can think of.

This is a great page of ideas on ways to keep them amused, most cheap or free. Don't get sucked into the expensive stuff the shops try to sell you, they don't need it! I'm sure you'll have lots of fun finding ways to help them enjoy themselves!

I look at every cardboard box, every bag and so much more as a potential toy for the piggies. Mine have never found anything from the store very interesting, but stud an empty toilet paper roll with small, thin carrot sticks, and not only will they eat all the carrots, but will chew the toilet paper roll to pieces, too. That takes time I've found pigs love anything they can hide in and pass through. Cardboard boxes with openings cut in them, bags with a door cut in the side, a hand towel draped cross a corner of the cage, so many things, and all free If you're worried about outside noises, try leaving a radio on to create background noise, and level out anything from outside that might frighten them. It's also a human voice in the background, that keeps them used to hearing human voices.

Welcome to Wheekers! things like upturned cardboard boxes with doorways cut out, hahaha Mine does this too, the "buck" their cardboard boxes ( and they have a lot) over just to do it. Now for the original question, if you dont have a lot of time to spend with the piggy, its good to have another to keep them entertained. I also have two so that they can keep each other happy I noticed that my pigs are generally more nocternal and want to play, but between morning and evening they are cranky and sleepy. Which is odd.
