Spud is doing awesome. He's going to be two now. We had a couple of health scares, but it's expected due to him being a special needs baby. He is now 4 pounds and still as charming as ever.
Muffins is turning one years old and she's really coming out of her she'll since we rescued her. No babies in case anyone was wondering. They have separate cages but they do enjoy each other's company. We are not planning on babies, but it's been decided if it happens. We're keeping all of them and getting them fixed as a precaution. Husband and I decided together that it would break our hearts to give them away to someone who has no idea what it takes to keep these guys happy and healthy.
I hope everyone is doing well. I personally had a cancer scare, malenoma. And was under diagnosis and testing for three months. Zones came out clear and I'm ok now. They removed it and there are no other sources of it in my body. I'm a few classes shy from graduation in college. And that is my update for now. Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas. Xoxoxo love from Spud, muffins and family to yours

I'm glad both pigs are doing well. One big C&C cage with a divider would be a better and more consistent way for them to socialise, rather than have them living separately and then mixing occasionally. I'd also definitely be very wary of risking breeding from a pig who had health issues. And as they can have quite a few babies who might not all get on (especially if there were a few boys) space could be a massive issue if you did triple your numbers.
I'm sorry to hear about your health scare, but glad you have the all clear and that your studies are still going well. Sounds like you're on the home straight now so good luck and thanks for checking in to let us know how you're doing!

If you do the big C&C cage with the divider, don't forget to put a grid section across the top of the divider. Pigs can climb, and boars feel a really strong drive to get to the other side. Just one section of grid, as many as needed to cover the divider from cage front to back, with equal amounts of grid on both sides of the divider, does the job really well Ooh Sorry to hear about the cancer scare Glad you got it under control, and don't have to worry about that any more So glad to hear Spud is doing so well. You've done a remarkable job with him and his special needs. Hugs
