It looks like the few forum images that we have stored on photobucket have stopped working, so apologies for any missing/ blurred images you can see.
I'll get onto it later! (Please note that I haven't specified whether I mean later today, this week, this month or this year!)

I think I've fixed most of them (we've lost a few custom smilies since I never had copies of those), but please let me know here if you find another blurry one I've missed - thanks!

3piggles, I don't still have the graphic for the Wheekers awards image you have in your profile, so I can't update that (it's set as a link in the 'custom title' area of your profile) - sorry. The best I can do is take the link out so it no longer shows the blurry image.

I missed the graphic, first. It was a great graphic I noticed there were some things missing, or different. I figured Photobucket was at it again. I haven't checked, but I wouldn't be surprised if my cage pictures in the housing thread were gone When I get a chance, I'm going to recreate the Piggy Paradise, anyway. I'm sure it will cost a lot more now, than it did back then. Small cage sizes, store bought cages, seem to be a major issue with guinea pig owners, and since I added 8 feet of running space with those tubes, all on the same footprint, I figure it's an option cavy owners should see, so they can consider something like that. It could also be done with plexi, or even luan, so I'd like to be able to get the idea out there. Someday, when I have nothing else to spend money on

What's luan?! These pictures are showing in the housing thread (albeit with a watermark on) but there's one at the start that's disappeared. It looks like they're stored in your account, not the Wheekers one, so maybe you have a bit more time!

Yes!!! The small one at the bottom is the Piggy Paradise. How to make a tiny cage a whole lot bigger Dallas and Zippy loved that cage! I'm glad the other one is still there, too. It's a good example of how to make a cage out of things that are really easy to get.

Gah they've gone blurry now too. I'll have to go and look in the housing thread and copy any that haven't gone yet.

I think that even the pictures stores on villagephoto are affected...

Sigh! For years there were set ways to get pics stored, organized and posted on Wheekers. I wonder how many people are losing pics they thought were safe? I have all the pics in my files, but getting them sized to fit on Wheekers was the problem. I can post through Tapatalk, but that would mean loading all of those pics onto my phone, and reposting them

Found the issue with villagephoto. I was always using the Secure URL and now it seems that something changed and those pics are not shown anymore. But, if I use the normal URL everything works just fine. I will need to go through my piggy land thread and update all pictures.
I have all my pics also stored on my pc. Only a selection meant for the forum are uploaded onto villagephotos.

Glad you got that sorted. I checked, but Villagephoto isn't available in the US I doubt hubby is ever going to get around to sorting out Smug Mug for me, so I'm stuck loading pics with Tapatalk. Bean, when you posted the pictures of my cages, you asked what luan is. It's like Plexiglass, only not as expensive. It's clear plastic that comes in sheets we can cut to fit, though cutting the stuff is really difficult. It creates the clear panel across the front of the cage.

Ah right, I thought it sounded woody!
Glad you didn't lose your photos, Amber! It certainly reminds us to make sure we have a copy of everything we want to keep on our own computers or external storage.

I think I used the wrong word, though now can't remember what the right word is. Yes, Luan is a type of plywood. I'll have to check that section, next time I'm at the home store, and see what it's called???

For some reason, the images are again not showing... I am using village.photos for storing them online and then linking them here

Ugh! I hate when that happens. I don't know how to figure out what's wrong. That's Bean's department If it's Wheeker's, I hope they get it fixed quickly! UPDATE: I was getting a message saying your photos were blocked because the certificate wasn't up to date. Apparently there are certain requirements to make sure nothing is embedded in a photo or video, that needs updating. Hubby said it's not with you but with the internet provider you're using. I got the same message about a video Shades posted from the UK, so whatever the problem is, it's an internet problem. At least that's why hubby said. I don't know if there's a way to do something within Wheeker's to change the certificates. Bean would know.

Ok, we will see. By latest middle of June I should have a different internet provider, I suppose, since I am moving out.

I'm short on time now, so haven't been super thorough, but found a few threads in the Proboards support forum with people having the same issue, and they resolved it by getting in touch with Village Photos - it was down to their SSL security certificate expiring or something. They had to update it and then the person's photos showed up again? The email address to contact them is support@village.photos
Hope that helps and you can get it fixed.
