That sunrise pic reminds me- my morning drive every morning is glorious, as I can see the sun rising in my rear-view mirror on the highway. Better still, it's usually hazy so the sun appears as a red ball on the horizon. Getting a picture with my phone never works, and I'd rather not chance it while driving on the highway anyway. Just another perk of working my current job.

That's a good perk!
What's the air quality like where you are, 3piggles? I've heard there are plenty of areas being told to stay indoors and wear masks while out because the air quality is so poor.

It's not bad. The smoke is more in the atmosphere than down here where we're breathing it. I have two friends in the hood who have COPD, and they're fine, so it can't be bad. Both of them will be on oxygen all summer, once it gets really humid. The heavy, humid air is too hard for them to breathe, but this isn't.
Baz, I have a Samsung S21 phone with a really good camera. I need to learn to use more of the setting, and it allows me to create settings as if the camera were a 35mm. It may take me a few shots to get the settings right, but that's all I used, my phone camera. I bought that phone for the camera, as I love to take pictures on my walks.

There is beauty in so many seemingly inconsequential things
