I think I've been so busy with doctors appointments, my months are running together. New thing for me. I hope everyone has a great April.
We started the month with a ice/snow storm. You might have gotten it too, Baz. Long storm. Started Wednesday around 11 a.m., and ended this morning around noon. Now we're getting rain for the next week, with a few breaks, so the 12"+ snow we got should be all gone. I was tempted to have Vic just leave the snow there for the rain to wash away. At the height of the storm there werej170K people without power. We didn't lose power, but we lost the internet, so not talking to anyone on here or Facebook. We have so much rain in the forecast, I doubt we'll get another snow storm, but this is New England. Anything's possible.

We've just got back from a lovely break in Anglesey - it's an island just off the north west tip of Wales. It was really beautiful there, we had some lovely walks along the coast. It was super windy, but heavy rain had been predicted for the entire time we were there, and luckily that all fell at night, so we were okay with the wind!

We've been getting a ton of rain, but no real snow. Given that it's APRIL, we shouldn't be getting snow anyway!

It looks beautiful. More pictures, please! I have yet to sort through them all (there's about 80 of a couple of red squirrels, which are mostly totally blurry!), but here are some seagulls who were much happier to pose than the other wildlife we saw (including puffins and seals).

Sea gulls are very outgoing I prefer a few, good pictures than posting all 700 pics. Some people do that. Instead of taking the best of each picture, they post them all.

One of the red squirrels who regularly visits the house we stayed in. We only get the greys in our part of the country, so it was exciting!

Yours have ear tufts. Ours don't. I love having them in the backyard feeding station I saw the flooding in West Sussex, on Sky News. I feel so badly for those people. They wanted beach front property, not out to sea property!

Our greys don't have tufts either. Another couple of shots from the same walk.

I wonder what those ruins looked like back in the day.

There was an artist's impression on an information board, but it was more of a sketch than something that really gave you a sense of it. According to the same board, it was a popular pilgrimage. And there was a holy well containing eels there, and if you scattered breadcrumbs on the surface, followed by a hankie, and the eels disturbed it, it meant your lover would be faithful.
