His name is Hamlet... he is quite young, maybe four weeks old, and his coloring makes him look like an oversized hamster , with light caramel and a splotch of white. His rosette on the top of his head makes it look like he has bangs, and his eyes are round, which is odd since Romeo's are more of an oval shape....
It was very cute because when i God Hamlet yesterday, and got him set up with veggies and all that, I was taking the new hay rack out of its box, and i t made an odd noise, which made Hamlet make an odd chortling noise. Romeo, my other boar, which I've had for five or sixth months, was in my lap at the time, and heard the new piggy's guttural plaint, and locked up, shocked at the sound of another piggy's voice! He was very interested, and when i opened Hamlet's cage, Romeo tried to run up the door into his cage to check the newbie out, but i didn't let him, of course.
Hamlet didn't eat ANY of his veggies, which i found odd. Of course, the petstore (yes, i got him at a store...) never offered vegetables, just oranges, so he might not know what to do with such foods just yet. Now that i think about it, romeo was just the same way when i first got him as a pup. But now he chows down on any veggie I throw his way, lol!
I feel kind of bad because I left Romeo in his cage all day today. I was REALLY busy and had no time to give him floor time, since his pen is a mess and i had no time to clean it, especially after he took the liberty to remodel it the other day, pushing the furniture all over the place... lol! And he had to just eat hay, no veggies at all... Of course, a half hour ago while i was on myspace, he was eating his pellet mix dinner on my lap as usual, and when he was done and had sprawled out on my lap for his after-gluttony nap, he took joy in climbing onto the keyboard and leaving a sweet message to my friend...
So YEAH, I got Hammy! And I WUV him! I will try to post pictures, but i haven't taken him out of his cage yet, as I have been trying my best to give him the two days to himself so he can get over "jetlag." But tomorrow, I can have LAPTIME!!! YAY!! Hope I can get my life in order soon...
