Well we MAY be getting another sow. A lady i know has taken on a tonne of old 'ex breeding' "stock" and they are all a little worse for wear and need some lovin' . so with much pleading to mum about the amount of space i have and how 'one more wont hurt'. she has agreed. i dont know who i am getting yet. all i know is that they are pigs waaaaay out of my usual range of 'smooth coats' and my texel boys. they are abbies! merinos or rexes . she has sent me a picture of a 'blue roan' or some thing anyway! and she is absolutally gorgeous! and im not usually into abbies! so we'll see if it amounts to anything anyway, so watch this space. if i do get her it wont be tomorrow as im at work, but maybe sunday if i get her (this lady takes her time to respond!)

Oooh good luck Melza - a blue roan abby sounds beautiful [if that's what she is] - let's hope she's lucky enough to be able to come and live with you for her retirement *fingers ever so tightly crossed* !

awesome! if a blue roan is like a horse, does that mean that she's kind of black-and-white speckled? AWESOME! whatever kind you get, pictures will be appreciated! ~K~<3

yea, she says she has a few very young ones who lost their mum (she was put down as there was nothing left of her) and seh is bottle feeding them and tehy may be ready soon, on is a red/black abby, the other a torti abby. i want to help out as best i can but sometimes its best to leave it to those who know their stuff, alot of these guineas are in a very bad way, i went and had a look today, it was horrible, i cant believe any one could be so irresponsible
