Glad to have you back Treen! When I get back from our spring vacation in a few weeks I am going to make a new C&C cage for Milano and Bordeaux! I went to Target today and got the grids and will have the coroplast cut when I'm ready to assemble. Have you seen The cage that Kathy made on her site KATHY'S KRITTERS?! WOW! It's so big that her two piggies actually look kinda lost in there! I'm just gonna make the standard 2x4 one for two pigs-it's all I really have room for anyway. I'm afraid of the scoring part but hope I can do it right. I can't wait to see my girlies in it and hope it doesn't scare 'Lano who is blind and used to her other cage and the pigatorium.

Oh it sounds great Kitty, I,m sure the girls will love it ;D When I was a young girl I had a blind guinea pig called Stephen, I was always amazed how he travelled around. I,m sure Milano will soon get used to it and she can follow Bordeaux! by sence of smell can't she.
I'll look forward to seeing it when its all up. She's a nice lady from Kathy's Kritters isn't she.

It sounds great - lots of luck building it, but if I can do it anyone can as I'm certainly not gifted in the DIY department! Just make sure you triple check your measurements before you cut/ score!
Where are you going on holiday?

We are going to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona, which is a sort of New Age enclave, and all around the state. We'll also go riding while there.
I can't wait to build the new cage! I've got everything ready to go!
Milano seems to do okay as long as I keep everything where it's always been. I am afraid she's going deaf now too as she no longer wheeks when I ask "Who's hungry?!" or when I call her name. I had a deaf and blind cat once named Keller (get it?!) and he got along fine. I just HATE to see her so impaired although she seems pretty happy.

I bet you'll have a lovely time Kitty, are you going for 1 week or 2 ?
I have a feeling my Jasmine is going a little deaf as she's sometimes the last one to realise its veggy time. Sweetpea acts as her ears though as she's always first in line and so hyper, you can't fail to notice her.

Animals just tend to get on with things don't they - they don't have the same experiences and emotions of losing sight or hearing that we do.
The holiday sounds great! I bet you'll have lots of fun! Is it just you and your husband or the whole family?

I just HATE to see this poor little piggie have something else wrong with her! She's had such a tough time, but she's lucky I'M her mama as I take such good care of her!
We will be gone for a week and it's John and me and Isaac going. Isaac and I will drive John crazy with our goofiness-he is my "partner in crime"! I just hope it's warmer there as I'm soooo sick of the weather here. The photos of Emma's pigs outside looked so nice and warm! I will miss "talking" to all of you while I'm gone!

John recently got his first digital camera and so he's nuts with it. Most of my photos show me "flipping him the bird" 'cause I'm so sick of it stuck in my face! So there will be LOTS of pictures that I'll send when we get back! Will miss you all...xoxoxo

Most of my photos show me "flipping him the bird" 'cause I'm so sick of it stuck in my face! Lol! I always used to pull really ugly faces when I didn't want my photo taken. I thought it'd stop them being put in photo albums, but unfortunately it didn't work as everyone thought they were funny. Oh well, you live and learn - now I just duck lol.

Yep, John got around me by keeping an "Ugly Famiy Photos" album with all of those dopey looks and finger-gesturing pics! I can't win!
