If you want to find out the answer, sure, my site will tell, but not directly, you'll just know once you get on.

Yes, she looks pregnant but I'm confused why you are asking since if one looks at your website one would think that you "should" know and not need to ask on a forum.

Aren't there enough people in this world to say that?

The reason that people mention it here is that the focus of this website, and the forum that you left, is rescue rather than breeding and showing. There most likely are some wonderful forums out there for people who breed and show but this isn't one of them. Therefore, you probably will continue to get the same response if you continue to post about those topics. Just food for thought.

If there is one place in the world with a huge piggy overpopulation it is California. You have no excuse to be breeding there!

I rarely see cavies in the local shelters where I live. And I plan to give my pigs to LOVING HOMES- I already made adoption sheets- where the people getting them have to sign and can only return the pig back to me if they cannot keep it anymore, since I do NOT want any of my pigs ever at the shelter or SPCA. And I will NOT be selling to the petstores or feedstores. On the Cavy Cage Forums, one person said on a forum 'breeders wouldn't let the average person into their caviary', well that's false, I'd let people come into the caviary, to see my pigs, I don't have anything to hide- they are happy, and healthy, and live in my room, where they are loved, and well cared for.
My pigs get unlimited timothy/orchard hay, pellets, fresh water, veggies throughout the day, and TLC(Tender Loving Care) all the time. They each have shelters, and have clean cages.
I mean having the C & C cages is more work for me, but I am WILLING to have C & C cages for my cavies, since I want them to be happy, and I don't mind some more cleaning; it's better than them being uphappy. Plus I'm the one cleaning the cages, not my parents, no one else in the family, but if my mom gets some pigs, she'd help, but other than that, I'm responsible for caring for them, and I'm the one that is to clean their cages. My parents take me to the feedstores & petstores to get supplies for them, and buy me the supplies and feed for them.
Really, if you think I'm just a breeder, that hardly cares for my cavies, that's very untrue. My cavies are WAY higher cared for than the cavy breeder's standards are, of course I don't want my pigs living in tiny 2 sq. ft cages, that why everyone is getting upgraded on cages
. They are not my 'breeding machines', they are my pets. I treat them like pets, not livestock.
Sure they take up room, and I could just reather put them in a garage or shed, but I do NOT want them garage or shed; it's too hot in summer, even with a fan, and gets too cold in winter, even with a heater. They live in my room- they see people daily, always fed veggies, and loved.
And please don't bann me anyone, I was just stated how my cavies are cared for, since some people must think are just my 'breed machine' animals, and I do not want anyone to ever think that, because it's untrue.
BTW- In the world, California is NOT the place overpopulated with pigs, I've seen places way too over populated with pigs. Rabbits, dogs, & cats are way overpopulated in California.
Also, I don't breed pigs for a 'profit' you can't make a profit off of them.

Excuse me, but let me quote your web-site. The first thing anyone see's when they go into your web-site is this: Cavies For Sale..I don't see cavies for adoption to loving homes....all I see is about breeding and showing. If you are giving them up for adoption then you would hardly be breeding them and you would get each one you adopt out vet visits and check-ups. You don't see shelters breeding guinea pigs to "adopt" them out to "loving" homes.
Quote: "You've came to the right site spot if your looking for show, pet, & breeding quality cavies for sale!" This is not the actions of some one adopting out a pet to a good home...you may give them good homes, but if you go around "selling" them for STOCK (breeders) animals than that is NOT adoption!! And that is NOT what this site is about.

I do NOT sell them online. And I used adoption instead of selling, a little mistake on words. And my cavies aren't going be bred much anyways. Before you assume things, why don't you first know the background history? Wow- I ment sell- not adopting. But I got selling papers for them, so that I can know the people's name, address, phone, etc , of which they are going too.

Have you done research on adopting? DO you even know if what you are doing is legal? And I do not see a mistake I clearly see Sale several times.....and you are selling them on-line, any advertising you do for the sale of some thing regardless if you actually do the transaction on-line IS still a sale made on-line. I dont need back ground history.....I can read. I see what you have put there for any one to read. I will say that what you do with your guinea pigs is your business. But here at Wheekers you are making all members privy to that business...and we all see "sale", "breeding", and "showing"..in everything you represent about yourself and your pets on this forum. I may be out of line here and if so I shall apologize, but until I am proven wrong this is my strong felt opinions and I shall not back down as of yet.

Cavy breeding is NOT my business- If I want money, babysitting & petsitting, dog walking, get money- NOT breeding guinea pigs- especially with a small herd. Why don't we just have this thread closed?

Clearly you didnt understand......not business as in a job, but as in your business (like not any of your business) This thread is an example...why would you want it closed? You have to realize what you are up against honey. You think I am harse? I am not. I am one voice in many that represent something for the good of guinea pigs. I understand that you are young, and havent experienced what we have. We go against breeding of guinea pigs because there are already so many out there needing homes from this breeding. And yes you may say "Oh they will go to good homes I promise." I bet 1 out of every 5 breeders say that..and where do they end up? Early graves or the adoption centers..some are even lucky if they even see the inside of an adoption shelter. It's nice that you want to show your guinea pigs. Its nice that you take care of them. It is. But breeding just to get a little cash out of the sale of the offspring and calling it adoption....well that just stinks. Do you really know what will happen to these guinea pigs? Do you think a little signed slip of paper will stop some one from dumping them off in a field or ditch or a shelter? So I ask you....what is the good in intentional breeding when so many guinea pigs out there are in need of "good homes" ?
