Might be the same as for a regular one. I had one quoted around $300+ for a cat. Since you're in Sac., I'd call UC Davis's small animal clinic and see if they do them. What are you looking for ... stones, cysts?

I want to check if my female is pregnant. But would reather not pay 100's of dollars to check for that. I'd only get one for her if it was cheaper than 50, but I think they aren't, so I probably won't get her a ultrasound.

May I quote Treen here when I say this: Every guinea pig message board has its own flavour, and Clover, Wheekers and I have decided that we'd like this board to be rescue friendly. We'd therefore appreciate it if you could keep discussions about intentional breeding and/ or showing to other message boards.
People who do either are still perfectly welcome here, no heads will be bitten off! And anyone seeking advice on health issues related to either topic will be treated fairly, provided they don't seem to be promoting either activity.
Thank you for your cooperation!

I know breeding is not wanted here but I will give you advice. she should be almost normal size but have huge, I guess its about where her hips are. Eventually you can tell you should be able to know. You might be able to feel the babies.

I was saying SEEING if pregnant, NOT talking about BREEDING. And I don't need to know that thing about breeding a 4th time, I can read once, and don't need to hear it 3 others times. I was NOT talking about breeding, I was TALKING about ULTRASOUND Price to to if my female IS pregnant.

Also, it's hard to tell if the female is going to have babies if she is only having 1. But her side are pulp, and she feels like she is pregnant.

Cool. I can't take pictures now, since I think my mom has the camera. But she feels pregnant, like she'll have 1-2 babies.

Ultrasounds are not cheap and I would not get one from someone who offered a cheap one since the person may not really be qualified to give and interpret them. The alternative is time ... to reveal whether or not she is prgenant.

If you were told three times then mayhap some one else wondered at your posts also. How did she get pregnant? Also pregnancy is a PART of breeding. If she got pregnant by a mistake then that is another story. If you would please refrain from capital letters as some one may take it that you are yelling or being rude. And it is our job to post what we feel is right for this forum. We are not dictating what you write , we give you a gentle reminder of our rules in the event that you may post about what we would rather not have discussed.

She just looks a little chubby to me but maybe shes pregnant.
By the way guinea pigs can have more complications if its only one guinea pig because the 1 guinea pig will often be bigger. Or at least I read that at Guinea Lynx

I'm pretty sure she is pregnant, since her stomach feels firm... and...oh-nevermind--- I can't say the other reason because it goes agains the rules. If you want to know the other reason, you can e-mail me at the e-mail on my profile.
