We now have the cubes for the two piggy cages we are building. Fingers crossed the correx will arrive very soon. Anyway, the piggies couldn't wait, so they've been trying out one of the cages. 3 Piggies will be in each cage. As you can see the piggy/bun palace isn't quite finished, but they don't mind that there's no plaster on the walls yet. We've been making it homely though. I have some piggy drawings to put up, so they'll make the walls less bare. Here's Clover Peachy and Squeekie without anything in the cage. Here they are making themselves at home. Jake, Sweetpea and Jasmine, while Thumper is weighing up the 'new thing' thats in the palace. Fiver just had to have a nosy to. Jasmine liked it that much, she soon made herself at home and had a nap. Sweetpea gazing at the scenery. Last one for now. Jasmine, Jake and Sweetpea saying 'Wheres the veggies?' Will post more photo's when the cages are complete.

Well, it looks like you got them (the grids). The pen looks great and Jasmine has given her nod of approval so everything is set .. the palace heads into completion mode.

WOW Jackie your room is so gorgeous, and the pigs look very happy in their new cage! I bet you just couldn't wait to set it up! I don't have Correx at all, I use the bags that our hay comes in.. it does sufficiantly seeings as I'm constantly changing my mind about how the Cage should look! Though I must say mine are enjoying their permanent C&C cage!
More pictures please Jackie, aL likes what she sees!

Thanks Treen, Kathy and aL, I'm so pleased with them ;D They've been in them for a couple of hours a day, plus their normal free range time in the hall. I've had a telephone call and the correx is ready to be picked up. We need to sort out a safty top for when the windows are open. We rarely get any cats in the garden, but one might just get through a lower window so I don't want to risk it. We even have a settee in the palace so we can sit in comfort while the buns are charging around. Fiver loves lying behind it Glad yours are enjoying theres aL, what a lovely invention and I,m so glad I now have the room for them.

We need to sort out a safty top for when the windows are open. How about just putting screens on the windows to keep critters, including bugs, out ?

What cute piggies you have.. I love the cube cages. They are relatively inexpensive and you can make good size cages with them. Here is a picture of the cage i made for my two girls over the weekend. and here is an image of their sleepy houses. img.photobucket.com/albums/v617/bransworld/IMG_1732.jpgcan anyone tell me how i post images in my posts? Thanks

You copy the IMG part instead of the URL. It should do it then. I really love these C&C Cages!

Its the doors I'm also concerned about Kathy, so I'll feel better knowing they have a top. The piggy/bun palace leads to the garden. Your cages are lovely bransworld , I love the little houses ;D The second photo is too big to post I'm afraid. If you click on modify, you'll see the image tags that I've added

They are next in-line Josie At the moment they have lots of free range time charging around the palace, but we are hoping to add runs to their cages so they'll also have more space.

Oh cool. Btw where did you get your C&C? Those joinings look much sturdier than the cable ties. And I may be getting a C&C if we get the shed and I like the look of those ones.

I would love a C&C cage but the pieces were all hard to find.

I bought my cubes from a lady called glitterbug who's a member at Cavy Cages forum. She sells them on ebay to as well as privately. Treen has contact details on her 'Make a Cage' page, sorry didn't mean that to rhyme lol www.treenspigs.com/info/cage.html

and here is an image of their sleepy houses. Very clever idea. You can right-click the image and save it to your hard drive if you wish. It's 450 pixels wide.
