Lelani 's pee sometimes looks just like bird poop-VERY white like wet chalk. I suppose that's what you'd call sludge? Too much calcium? I've put her on a special diet and am giving her cranberry juice to drink. Any other comments or suggestions?

What special diet did you put her on and what were you feeding her? Emmy has ongoing sludge and Izzy has had ongoing urinary problems. Is there any urine scald on her bottom area?

There's no blood or pain or squeaking or straining or sour smell, but like I said, her pee sometimes looks like bird poop- very white and chalk-like and SOLID. This is not the usual milky pee-pee. I am feeding her "Becky's Sample Stones Diet" I found on guinealynx.info/stones_diet.html where the calcium-phosphorus ratio is correct. There is no scald on her bottom, just the occasional deposits in her pee that make it look exactly like bird poop: very white and solid-like. Do Emmy and Izzy leave a solid white chalk-like deposit when they pee-pee?

When Emmy passes the sludge it ends up attached to her fur and skin and if I don't notice it right away it will create a urine burn. It is somewhat like plaster of paris and is very difficult to remove. I do it VERY carefully with a pair of scissors and tweezers.

It sounds like excess calcium. I'd recommend taking her to a vet, most times excess calcium can turn into bladder stones. What kind of veggies are you feeding your piggie and how often? Some veggies have a high content in calcium and need to be fed in moderation.

I have downloaded various lists with calcium and phosphorus content and am giving them what I think is a balanced diet. Now I rarely see the calcium in Lelani's urine so it must be working.

Yes. "Becky's Stone Diet" was one and the other ones I was using fell behind the fridge and I'm still trying to dig them out! I was feeding them lots of kale which looks bad and other stuff that had too much calcium. I really think it's improved their diet AND health.

What type of veggies did you focus on? It looked a bit overwhelming when I looked at the diets a while ago.
