Can anyone explain how to use a flood fill colour in only a selected part of an image that has a transparent background?

Can you make it into a layer or something? I don't know, I don't have it anymore

I have no idea, Jackie! Most of the time I use paint for that. Maybe if you copy'd it over to paint, paint filled that thingo, then copy'd it back over if you needed to...?

could you use the freehand selection thingy? The one that looks like a lassoo? Or the magic wand tool?

I have it but don't really understand the question lol. Well, I didn't know flood fill didn't work the same whatever the background!
You can always just paint on specific areas on psp too - just make sure you have the right layer selected when you take your brush to it.

Oh can you let me know how to do that Treen. I've not had chance to make more Fluff, but hopefully I can make a start next week.

To make sure you're on the right layer select 'Layer' from the top menu and move it to Layer 1 or Background or whichever you want to work on.
To paint in an area, just select the 'Paint brush' tool from the left and use the colour pallet and tool options (should be a drop down box near the top right) as usual to change width/ colour etc. And for the flood fill you just select the 'Flood Fill' icon (the tipping paint pot) and do the same.
