We also have to get to know members reasonable well so thats why invited members have usually been posting for quite some time. Yes normally a pm is sent out.

Be reasonable guys - these things have rules for a reason. Obviously if you've tried to get in the password protected forum, you wouldn't be able resist temptation if it was free for all. And if you hadn't taken the time to read the forum description (that states that the forum is for over 18's) you would know why you haven't been invited.
The Snug is for genuine long standing members who put positive input into the forums and post by the rules.
