Check out my friend Jess's awesome dog, Gemma! Isn't she beautiful!? I love her bronze colour, and she is such a sook! She loves her family, and loves anybody who comes over! Awaiting a treat... Begging... Playing dead... She's so clever and sweet! Doesn't bother the chooks, or the bunny or the piggies.

Goldens are my favorite breed of dog. When I worked at the Guide Dogs for the Blind and there was one that was career changed, they were adopted immediately (vs the shepards or labs who didn't have the long list of people who wanted them).

Gemma is super sweet! I want to run away with her every time I see her, you're right Jackie!
I went over to get my phone charger which i left at Jess's and Gemma came barking down the drive way until she saw it was me and came bounding up for a pat! She's just lovely! I really would love to get a puppy and teach it to respect the piggies from an early age. But I want more than anything to get one from a Shelter.
My favourite Breed of Dog is the German Shepherd (which is ironic as my last name is Shepherd lol) But also love Labs and Retrievers.

I used to work at Guide Dogs for the Blind and I was surronded daily with the three breeds that you mentioned. One thng is that shepherds are a more difficult breed or one needs to be a "sheperd" person since sometimes they can be a bit harder to handle. With the other two breeds, keep in mind that they are both retrievers and your pigs are prey. I'd probably keep all three of them away from the pigs.

I like German Shepherds to aL, from when I worked in a boarding kennels. There was a lovely girl called Sheba who was staying for a few weeks. I became really attached to her and was sad to see her go back to her owners, even though she was over the moon seeing her owners again. I have an ornament of a German Shepherd that was given to me over 20 years ago, I'll take a pic of it for you
