[glow=lime,2,300]This is the love of my life! My Pembroke Welsh Corgi Eevee!!! Shes the oldest out of a monkey, 2 piggies, a shih tzu, a mini donkey, 2 goats and 2 horses! I dont know how much longer she will be with us, shes 10 years old and has a couple fatty tumors. I made a promise to her that the minute she isnt happy I will let her go! I dont want her to suffer! She helped me through everything hard in my life! When we went to go buy her I got to pick the puppy I wanted. The lady wouldnt even show her to us! But I picked the ugliest pup in the liter and she turned out to be my best friend![/glow]

[glow=lime,2,300]The vet said yes he could remove them but it would be very expensive and dangerous. Because where they are located if they cut 1 mm off the spot they need to she can loose feeling in her leg. He said because they are only fatty tumors I shouldnt need to worry. She goes in once a month to get them looked at and make sure it doesnt get worse[/glow]

Oh they do sound very tricky to remove don't they. Your being a great doggy mum taking her to get them checked over every month I'll keep my fingers crossed they don't cause her any problems.

[glow=lime,2,300]thank you! The tumor is right on her joint to her back leg, like our knee.
She helped me through my first break up, every girl knows how hard that is, us teens always think we are in love. She helped me through my mom getting remarried. Shes been there for more than half my life, I atleast owe her this and so much more! Im so glad shes happy!
She follows me when I take my horse out riding, she even learned to jump up so I can grab a harness she wears when a dog is loose. She will ride right in the saddle with me.[/glow]

Animals do help us get through rough times don't they. You can talk to them and they'll listen, well I like to imagine they do They don't judge you or care what you look like first thing in the morning lol. I can't imagine my life without my pets.

[glow=lime,2,300]She is actually really ugly compared to the breed standard but thats just a fashion show that I dont wanna win. Yes Corgis do tend to get fat QUICK. She just lost about 40lbs. I used to feed her scraps and human food 24/7 until she had rolls in her sides and couldnt roll over anymore. Then I went and bought her diet food called Premium Edge, its made for dogs but has less carbs than what all the other diet foods have, its specially made for dogs that gain weight quick like corgis and heelers. Now shes back to normal![/glow]

Oh thats good news about her weight. Sometimes you have to leave out extra treats, sort of be cruel to be kind. She must be much happier not carrying all that extra weight around

She's a cute little dog, no matter what you say about her being the ugliest of her litter My dad used to own a Pembroke Corgi. Her name was Betsy ;D I never met her though Good luck with Eevee's tumors

I still think she's lovely! I hope the tumors get taken care of and she gets better! I too can not imagine life without my pets, Clover. The people I can mostly do without! John swears I will end up being the neighborhood crazy "cat" or "piggie" lady! There are worse things to become I suppose!

[glow=lime,2,300]I have an update on Eevee.
We just found out she has vonwildabrans disease, I hope I spelled that right. They said that it is almost like our Himophilia, its a blood thining disease. Luckily she is spayed so we dont have to worry about spreading it. But now I might not be able to have her tumor removed, they said surgery is a very dangerous thing now that they have to worry about her bleeding to death.[/glow]

Oh I'm sorry to hear about that TimsCavyPrincess, I'll keep my fingers crossed that she dosn't have any problems with the tumours. Does she need any medication for the condition?
