While hubby was cutting the lawn, Mr.Toad popped out and said 'quit disturbing me!' lol Thankfully he was alright even though the mower was just a foot away from him. I was going to pick the grass off him and make him more presentable for the photo, but I'm glad I didn't, he hopped away just after the photo. Isn't he cute ;D We also have a couple of little frogs, but they alway hop away before I get a chance to take a photo. I'm leaving a saucer of fresh shallow water out everyday for them as its so hot in the garden. Under the tree's the soil is still a little damp, but thought I'd give nature a helping hand. Froggy pictures coming soon I hope

You should see the babys that I have hop up to my office.....they cross a meadow from the pond and a street and then come into a breezeway of office buildings side by side and when I show up in the morning I have to watch my step. Why they would leave the nice pond I will never know, but they are heading straight for a major highway!!

Why they would leave the nice pond I will never know, but they are heading straight for a major highway!! Aww it sounds like they looking for their own stretch of water. I don't how ours got into our garden as theres fences all around. Mr.Toad asks, 'Is Mr. Miyagi another toad'?

I almost never see toads here anymore. I think we've killed 'em all off with all the pesticides. Used to be every summer at dark they'd come out to eat all the bugs on the porch. I even have a toad house to lure them but no luck yet. I did see RATTLESNAKES on my vacation! I was just glad the horse didn't STEP on one! Or ME!

Excellent question, Mr. Toad. The link below takes one to a photo of Mr. Miyagi who was found out in a field. He says he's not a toad though but he can relate to living out in the grassy areas. 'OH very nice' says Mr.Toad I havn't seen him this morning, he may have gone back to 'Toad Hall'! A toad house Kitty! do you have a picture of it? Wow rattle snakes, now I wouldn't be happy having a garden guest like that lol Can you manage to take any photo's Josie of your little froglets ?
