I started the day out putting Titus in his collar- and trying to convince him to have his picture made with Natalie. He was more interested in eating the end of the collar. So much so, even... That he fell off the sofa Mouse, always wanting to help, decided to aid me in changing the litter boxes today. That means she sat on the garbage bag every time I set it down. Booger did her exercises as usual- she thinks she's getting fat. Hermie spent the entire day trying to keep the guinea pigs from escaping out of their cage on the slim chance that they learned to open the lid. She was concentrating really hard. Being the only window (shaded by the front porch roof) that Deuce is allowed to nap in, he seldom leaves it- and was not very interested in having his picture taken. And finally, Titus was still long enough for me to get a clear picture- so this one will be his official 11wk old portrait.

I think all the pic's are cracking, You have some lovely cats.
If you don't mind can I ask you a question. How do you get your cats to get along with each other?
I have two kittens about 4 months old and they really do hate each other, I have to keep them in different rooms as they fight to much, but would love them to get along with each other.

Thanks!
As far as getting cats to get along- you have to let them work it out for themselves. If someone gets particularly nasty give them a squirt. It is a good idea to let them each have something that is their own- and help preserve that if you can- like a favorite spot or toy.
Hermie still does not like the kitten, but she has stopped hissing at him at least. She is usually the last to accept a newcomer. Deuce just came to us as a stray in March- and she is just now allowing him to rub on her a little.
Cats are very good at establishing their own hierarchy. In my house, I would say Booger, Natalie, Mouse, Deuce, then Hermie- with Titus really taking first priority but being a kitten he's not really the boss. I doubt he ever will be- he'll likely fall in about level with Deuce as males tend to be more laid back and less power-hungry. Hermie is very illusive, though- which is why she falls to the bottom.

We have 4 cats and they get into their spats at times. When it gets really bad I have a squirt bottle and spray it at them and they separate. But after 3 years of living together they are all happy, well were happy until we added a new kitten, but the kitten is learning his place in the food chain....lol. You just have to let them sort it all out.

Sorry Jennawing for taking over your thread, and thanks both for the advice. I will try the spray bottle.
