Yes. I have three: Katie, Trudy, and Ted. The first two are female Maine Coon cats and Ted is a formerly-feral cat who looks like a Maine Coon.

I used to have a beautiful kitty named Clover, but I had to rehome her when my youngest brother was born. I plan to adopt another sometime in the future though... cats are the best.

We had a wonderful cat for 17 years, Ralfi. She chose us and we were so fortunate that she did!

Michymoo, have you tried looking at shelters like Jackie suggested? And was she wearing a collar with an ID tag or was she microchipped? I hope you find her.

You need to put up tons of flyers and post them and hand them out and go around and ask if anyone has seen your cat. Also, when you find your cat, if you keep her inside she won't be able to get lost.

Flyers are a great idea. Put a photo of Maggie on it along with a description and your name and phone number, so if anyone has seen her they will know where to contact you. I hope nothing's happened to her... there's always the chance that a family took her in and is looking after her until they can find her real owner.

Many times that is true. Emma's rabbit was found by a boy and he had the rabbit at his home. Keep looking and never give up since she misses you. Pets are often found months later when a caretaker has not given up. Our local shelter has reunited pets with victims of hurricane Katrina and we are on the other side of the US (the pets were airlifted to our area). Good luck and hope you find Maggie.

Cats like to hide in the strangest places. Is there any construction going on in your area? Could your cat have been shut in somewhere and can't get out? Has anyone moved? Don't give up!
If you have any primary schools in your neighborhood you might ask them to place a flyer in their office. Children usually know most of the animals in a neighborhood.
