I think my 4 year old dog Phoebe has worms! Her stomache has been causing her lots of pain, it will make loud noises and she will cry quitely sometimes. Yesterday night she got sick about 3 times badly. The last one, was blood and me and my mom were getting worried. Before we thought she just ate something but again tonight she threw up huge undigested food, she is a very small dog by the way. My mom thinks she could have got it from the guinea pigs poos! I was cleaning the cages and went to get some Vinager and water solution and I left the cage base on the floor (guineas were in the playpen), when I came back silly phoebe was sitting in the base and eating all the poos! Maybe that could have caused it, she might not have worms but my mom think it might be the case. Worms can be fatal I heard so my mom is bringing her to the vet tommorow if she can make it hopefully! Any advice would be great!

Phoebe needs to see a veterinary doctor. It is very unlikely that she acquired worms from guinea pig poos. First of all the worms would have to be present in the poos. Did you see worms or maggots in the guinea pig bedding? I would tend to think it is something else. If she is in pain and vomiting, she needs to see a doctor. Quite likely it is something she ingested.

Sparkle eats guinea pig poo quite regularly and has never had a problem with it. He thinks they're tasty treats. I don't think that could have caused it. Good luck at the vet's tomorrow. Hope you can get to the bottom of this and that Phoebe is back to herself soon.

Probably not the poo or any "worms" but she needs to be seen ASAP by vet ... even an ER vet. How is she now?

Yes, we brought her to the vet, I guess it was me over-reacting a bit This type of food we gave her one night just really upset her stomach and she had lots of pain. She threw up the undigested food because she just has a problem with the type, so we don't use it anymore. She is fine, hyper, active and playful as usual now

Oh, I'm glad she's okay. My aunt and uncle's Min Pin puppy got chocolate toxicity poisoning the other day and was having similar symptoms to your Phoebe's. A lot of little kids were over so they must have given him some, not knowing that it's bad for dogs. It is scary... I would be 'over-reacting' too.
