Do you have the kitten now? Did they put the leg in a cast?

You were at the right place at the right time. I hope this little one finds its forever home. This is why I like Wheekers so much, such big hearts.
We have a lady in San Diego who has rescued stray animals for years. She places them with the Humane Society and then begins looking for homes. When she was trying to rescue an animal this weekend, she was hit and killed by a speeding car. The Humane Society is trying to place the 9 dogs that she had already rescued.

You did the best that you could and the kitten is getting the best help that they an give it and had it not been for you, it would have suffered more than it is now. Unfortunately, this another example is why cats and kittens should not be let outside not matter how much they want to go out.

I'm so sorry things turned out this way, but he really was lucky that you found him. If he does die, he will die in a nice, cozy shelter knowing that he is loved instead of out on the street somewhere cold and helpless. All thanks to you caring enough to bring him in.

Oh I'm so sorry, you did the best you could If it does die, it will know that someone loved him, and that not all people are mean and nasty.

Michymoo there are very evil people in this world and there are very kind and tenderhearted people. People who harm animals have no regard for life. They need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I'm so glad there are people in this world like you, kind and tenderhearted.

I am so sorry you had to see first hand just how horrible some people can be to a little helpless creature. But thank God you found the little baby and took it where kind people could help it. I try to think the kitty is romping in heaven , whole and happy with all the other precious animals who've passed over. Bless your heart Sweetie for seeing it died around caring folk...
