Thank you Auntie Wheekies and Auntie Piggygirl. Its still been raining so I haven't had the chance to go outside yet. When it was sunny for a bit, Grandad was cutting up some wood in the garden and he didn't want the bits to go in my eyes but hopefully if it stays dry long enough and the garden dries out I can go outside soon
I enjoyed some of Sweetpea's birthday cake, I love grass and a few dandi's but my favourite is carrot, brocoli and that pepper bell thingy that comes in different colours. Well I'd best go now and eat some of my oat hay that granny has just given me.
love Thumper xx

Hello Thumper Is your garden dry enough for you to go outside? You have had some terrible weather that has left us glued to the weather channel, worrying about our friends. It sounds like you have had some very tasty vegetables to eat. Peppers make such pretty salads. Does Granny grow her own peppers or does she get them at the market? I hope you have lots of sunshine soon.

Hello everyone , has it really been nearly 4 months since I visited my thread
I'm on a little diet this month so granny made me work for my little biscuit treat hee hee as you can see.
I only get some biscuit twice weekly while I'm cutting back but I still get lots of healthy veg which I love, plus my hay and pellets too.
Here is my favourite place to hide ;D
Well I hope you like the pictures of me that granny took this morning. Bye bye for now.
lots of love Thumper xxxx

Aww hello Thumper, you're looking as gorgeous as ever! I like the sound of using biscuits as an incentive to exercise lol - tell your granny even I'll do some jumping and stretching if she lays out the flapjacks!

Wow is Thumper ever beautiful!! I just wanna get lost in all that fluffy fur!! Is Thumper potty trained? I've heard that rabbits are easy to box train so you can have them in the house like a cat? True?

Is it chocolate cake your stretching for beckee lol Aww hello Thumper, you're looking as gorgeous as ever! I like the sound of using biscuits as an incentive to exercise lol - tell your granny even I'll do some jumping and stretching if she lays out the flapjacks! If you cycle the length of Britain Treen, I'll make you some Flapjacks lol Val.. Yes Thumper is litter trained, he's ever so good and has hours of free range time. The only difference between Thumps and a cat though is that cats don't tend to nibble everything lol So he needs to be supervised all the time but he's so good. He acts like a dog sometimes, you just rattle his pellet bowl and he hops up to it and he understands simple comands. I'll try and get a movie of Thumps flopping down, on his side between my daughter Kathys feet, its so cute to see Thumpers says thank you for the lovely messages.

Thank you Linda. He actually acts like a hoover and licks up any crumbs from the floor as he hates waste lol I did take a movie of Thumper and said *camera and action* but he flopped down and had a nap lol I'll try again though. I don't know if you've seen any of Thumpers movies Val and Beckee, but here he is with movies of our dear Fiver too. jackiesguineapiggies.com/bunnymovies.html

How cute is that! The two of them look like twins! Are they from the same litter? Do you have to bath rabbits like you do guinea pigs? Rabbits almost seem like having a cat Jackie? Liter box trained and all!! They really are adorable and just look so cudley...are they?

Hi Val, no Fiver and Thumper wern't from the same litter. Fiver was actually a third smaller than Thumps and had some grey/black patches on him, but their colours were similar. Thumper I think is bigger than the average sized cat, he's so big! I used to give Fiver a little dip because he had the occassional messy bottom, but I've never bathed Thumper. I know some guinea pigs can find baths stressful, but I think rabbits can be even more nervous. I also worry that he could kick out too much and hurt his back so I'd rather not risk it unless I really had too. Thumper doesn't enjoy being lifted and panics too much. Fiver had a few medical problems in his life so he needed to be handled more and actually got used to it, but the urge to run was still with him. Like Fiver was though, Thumper is one of the softest rabbits you could meet, if you kneel on the floor he'll put his two front feet on you, lick your clothes (or give them a nibble lol) and he'll rest right next to you, he's so lovable. I will try very hard and get a movie of Thumps flopping on his side between Kathys feet, its the definition of trust ;D I have read that female rabbits that aren't spayed can be quite stroppy and all rabbits can have stroppy moments like us humans but if they are given lots of care and attention they can make wonderful pets.

He still hasn't done it in front of the camera beckee but will keep trying. Meanwhile here is a lovely picture of Thumper with hubbys very old slippers. He loves footwear, especially slippers but is also very fond of shoe laces so have to keep them out of reach.
