Hey, do any of you guys have reptiles? I love reptiles, except snakes. YEESH. No offense to anyone who has one. I have a leopard gecko. She's very cute. Unfortunately, I have no pictures of her right now.

I never had any. I know someoone who has an iguana and it baffled me that he was extatic of joy when you petted him. I guess I just am more fond of hairy creatures then others, lol.

I used to have two Iguanas. When I worked in a Reptile Pet Shop, I fell in love with the Bearded Dragons. I think I may get one someday. By far though, the Leopard Geckos were my second favorite.

Bearded dragons are awesome. I take care of my sister's everytime she has to go somewhere and won't be back in time to feed them. Bearded dragons are one of the very best beginner reptiles. Most of them will let you pick them up and walk around with them on your shirt ;D. Of course, there are always exceptions. Let me know if you want more information on them. I could just talk and talk and talk. Hee hee.

Ooo what a coincidence.. My brother and I were talking about him maybe getting a leopard gecko yesterday after hearing of a couple looking for homes! I've always been curious about the amaller reptiles and snakes as pets but never looked into the keeping they need thoroughly enough to feel confident getting one!

Leopard geckos are good because they have pretty low maintenance. You have to clean their poos now and then, refill their water, and feed them. The problem is that most don't like being held very often, although some really like it. Is there anything you would like to know about them? Of course, before you get one you should get a book and look through the care of them very thoroughly.

I love reptiles (well actually - I love all animals - from ants to elephants!) My favourite reptile is any type of snake. I've even managed to handle a Green Mamba in South Africa (family holiday). She had to have her venom glands removed as there was in infection making her very ill, but by losing the venom glands, she wasn't poisonous, but could still strike. I must of held her on a good day as she coiled herself quite happily and relaxed in the African sunlight. But my favourite snake has to be a Corn snake, as they come in so many different colours. Gogoplant2 - do you know any brilliant (UK) websites that I can get some decent pictures of corn snakes? Mweekie!

Well, you could go to www.repticzone.com and go to the snake forums. If you scroll down there should be one specifically for cornsnakes and people post pictures of their pets there all the time, so you should find some pretty quickly. Hope this helps.

I'm not to keen on snakes. I do like the lizards in my garden though. Many times I save them from my cats. I used to be afraid to pick them up but not any more. I've gotten used to picking them up to relocate them so my cats can't find them. The ones in my garden have florescent blue/gray bellies. They are cute.
