I had a little cleaning job years ago as I was able to take my two young daughters with me. Anyway they had a couple of lovely cats, male and female and it was always the female Val that hated going outside. She would just spend a minute outside to do her buissness and rush back in, go upstairs and sleep on the bed lol
Indy might just love the security of your home Val. Hopefully she will be best friends with your boys or maybe they'll just tolerate each other which is still ok.

Thanks so much everyone. Hope all goes well with the vet. I dread giving meds to Brin and Clover. It was hard enough just getting their worming paste into them. They were just as bad as the cats and almost as strong. Glad Thumper is doing so well. It can be a struggle can't it Lesa. I do think that the intensive care Thumps has had for almost a week now has got her more used to things. Shes never needed handfeeding or meds before but she did finally settle down. The journey to the vets was awful, it took us over 90 minutes because of the traffic. Anyway Molly was very pleased and Thumper was much calmer too at being turned over. Will practice that one day lol Thumper now allows me to lift her but with her feet firmly on the ground so I was able to inspect her incision area rather than just wait until she stands up and begs for a treat. The stitches disolve which is good. She just has a little dry skin so I'm putting Vaseline on the area. While Thumps was there she had her Myxomatosis jab and will go back in two weeks for her VHD. Here are a few pictures. Thumpers first night. She was very quiet bless her. I put a towel on her for extra warmth. and here she is the next evening looking brighter in herself. Her tum was also fine by this time thanks to the vets and Maxalon. Here is Thumpers tummy, its very clean and is healing very well. Molly said there is no need to bring her back on friday and to wait for when she has the next vaccine.

Thanks Treen, I've only slipped up abit calling Thumper a he lol Lol Val No Thumper has always been a girl , we just didn't know it 8-)lol Thumpers is doing so well, shes eating and begging none stop and she just seems back to her usual happy self. Its funny now as she has learn't that she really has to 'surrender' so I can give her her meds and now she goes to the same spot and is taking her metacam just fine. I have some pics of her incision area, honestly she doesn't look bad at all, you can just see a few black stitches and her bare belly. Thumps is back at the vets tommorow and also friday. I hope she copes with the journey, her little heart really beats so much faster. Its 20 plus miles per visit so its a big distance for her. Molly Varga is such an excellent rabbit/Guinea pig vet though. Will let you know how Thumps gets along at the vets.

lol Jackie.. 6 years is a long time to think you know someone isn't it! lol Will you be making an announcement on your site or just sneaking through and editing all the 'he's to 'she's? lol I hope her tummy continues to improve and he appetite grows. I know how wriggly my two little ones are so i can imagine your battle when you need to give her meds! Hope you're not too scratched?! rofl, Oh I never thought of just secretly editing Beckee, you have given me an idea lol I think with Thumps being so big its harder to hold on to her but I'm trying to be more assertive and make her realise that the 'general' is in charge and not Thumper the officer lol No matter how much I try and restrain her (well hang on to her lol) shes ever so friendly even while shes struggling. They can scratch can't they but lucikly that hasn't happened. Honestly its like wrestling with a bear, she is so strong lol

Thanks Treen and Donna. I may use a blushing smilie in my diary lol
Donna, Thumps is going back on monday but she may also go back on the friday too as that will be 10 days. Hopefully by monday she can be allowed out of her cage for abit, shes so used to being semi-free range, I can tell shes getting bored.
Still slipping up and calling her he lol Well its has been 6 years lol When I thought Squeekie was telling Thumps about his neutering op, they must have been arguing Squeekie: 'Thumper its called a spay for a female' Thumper: No its not Squeekie, granny said its a neuter' lol
