Milano is going to visit the pet psychic on Thursday - I want to hear from her how she feels her quality of life is. Don't laugh! We have used them at the stables on the horses and the results are UNCANNY! Has anyone else ever seen a pet psychic before?!

I haven't, and I'm not sure on the whole Psychic thing, but it would be interesting to see how it goes! Maybe try not giving any information on Milano's condition and see if the person gets it!
Check your PM's Kitty, I sent you one ages ago...

Oh, I won't tell her ANYTHING just to test her! But I SWEAR, it's worked on the horses! I am sitting here right now watching Sylvia Browne on "Montel Show" do her psychic thing and it is amazing. Her latest book is called "Animals In Heaven" and personally, if there IS a heaven there had better be animals there or it won't be heaven to ME! I'll let you all know how it goes with Milano AND Bordeaux.. She said to bring her too as she might have some things to "say" about Milano too!

I got offered the chance to attend a lecture on it. Unfortunaty it was the other end of the country so I couldn't go... but it sounded amazing. My friends rabbit 'told her' it didn't like its name & wanted to be caled Hatty

I would love to take my crew to a Psychic! I'd love to hear what they think of things - especially if things can be told like past experiences... oh wouldn't it be great to hear a piggie's views on pregnancy and all that stuff that people get into so many fights about lol

I've never been I always thought they were kinda hokey... no offence But it would be cool to see what Chessy or Ganache were thinkin'! Probably food food foo That's that they seem to like the most! I don't think there IS a pet psychic anywhere near me... There IS a normal psychic, but I don't beleive they do pets... sounds cool though ;D GOOD LUCK MILANO AND BORDEAUX ;D

The visit to the psychic was PHENOMINAL! Milano and Bordeaux "talked' about our past lives together (VERRRY interesting!), how they feel about each other (Milano wants to mother Dodo and Dodo thinks Milano is a pest and not a smart one at that!), their home and food ( Great, keep it coming!), the cat (HATE her!), and what they see as their "jobs" here ( Dodo-protector; Milano- mother and love-giver). The best part though, and my real reason for going was to find out about Milano's health. She "says" she IS dying and will stop eating when her time is near- and she stopped right BEFORE we went to the pshchic, when I gave them their usual dinner. Even her favorite peas wouldn't tempt her, poor baby. She "talked" about her love for me and how she really doesn't want to leave me, but that her little body just won't hold on for much longer. I have stopped all her meds (she fights me now and I don't want to force her) and she isn't eating and actually, she is breathing better and seems serene, if frail. I think we are both at peace now with her situation and we are just holding and loving each other as much as possible. I know this might be hard for some of you to accept, but as I said before, we had great success with "reading" the horses and now the piggies. Like Shakespeare said, there ARE many ( and I paraphrase!) strange and wonderful things in heaven and on earth that we don't understand. I just know that I feel better and I suppose that's all that matters to me. Peace and love to you all and to yours...

Awww Kitty I'm glad the visit to the Psychic went well.. you didn't tell the Psychich that she was sick? Better yet.. which one was sick? That's amazing..
But I completely understand how you feel about giving her the meds.. maybe there's some form of drug that can relieve pain for her until she passes?

I had tears in my eyes while reading about Milano Its so hard to decide if they have had enough isn't it Kitty. Did your vet suggest stopping the meds? Sometimes you have to think about their quality of life don't you and it can be heartbreaking making that decision. I'm so sorry Kitty that Milano's health has deteriorated so much. Looking back, when my Molly's breathing became worse and her quality of life wasn't good a week before she passed away, I'll always think maybe I should have let a vet help her on her way abit sooner. I know non of us want our lovely pets to suffer, its so hard to decide when the time is right. You just want to hang on to everyday you have with them. I'll be thinking of you and Milano. love Jackie

Milano 'says' she isn't in pain- just a little tightness in her chest sometimes from the allergies, and sometimes her neck gets spasms from the stroke contracting her muscles so that she bends a little. Massage and Reiki helps that. Everyone who sees her says she seems to be breathing better WITHOUT her meds, and like I said, I'm not going to force them on her if she's not even eating anything else. She also "said" she will pass in her own time, which I took to mean she doesn't want me to euthanize her, but of course, if I think heroic measures are needed I WIll do that. I do think she's about as comfortable as she's been in ages and that her passing will be gentle. Thanks for thinking of us and being our friends and just CARING...xoxoxo

Hi Kitty, my heart is breaking for you and Milano. I had to go and give Lucky and Rocky a kiss on their little piggy lips. I'm so glad Milano was able to comfort you.

Yes, all of you hug and kiss your little babies too. Thank you all for your kind words and support. I know most of you have also lost some piggies and know how sad it is. The good part is that there are ALWAYS other needy pigs to bring home and love in honor of our lost ones.

That true Kitty and though they never replace the lost piggy they do help heal the hurt don't they? I don;t think I could cope with loosing a piggy if there wasn't something nice to sweeten it.

I think she is just slowly, slowly fading, which is how she "said" she wanted to go for MY sake, bless her little heart. Her pee-pee is almost psychadelic yellow although she drinks minute amounts. As I said, I just hold her and love her and tell her she can go and not to suffer for my sake.
