Totally beautiful! I can definitely understand why early humans thought certain places must be sacred. Love the personal aspects! Your daughter is a great sport

Fantastic love, it is very humbling to see things like that even if I don't do heights. Thank you so much.

Oooh spectacular! Love the bits with you and your daughter too.
On a recent city break, we'd been trailing round for hours and the kids were getting tired, but we realised we were 5 minutes from a cathedral that we'd heard was rather magnificent. So we dragged them on a bit longer saying we really wanted to see it, but my daughter was really flagging and the cathedral was at the top of a rather steep hill - she wasn't hiding how much the journey displeased her... As soon it came in to view, she grumpily went 'There! You've seen it now. Can we just go home?!'. It did make me chuckle - probably more because she's not normally so petulant! (Once inside she loved it and was glad we'd gone!)

Okay, time to cut loose with something really dramatic- my trip to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side!
This is just the highlights, but I can post the full video later. I'm actually quite proud of this one.

Excellent views of the falls, and love the video. The helicopter shots were great. Never did that, and would like to

Wow, that was really something, thank you so much hunny. I would love a hellicopter ride but if they are very expensive here and I have no doubt that they are there too. Fantastic views.

Yes, helicopter rides are expensive! I should mention that in no way am I wealthy- I just happen to save money and use it for things like these. But they're worth it, even to a guy like me who hates flying!

Very dramatic indeed! You really get a sense of the power of all that water.
My siblings bought me a helicopter flying lesson for my 21st - I loved it! I flew over the picturesque Stratford-upon-Avon so it was very pretty and sedate (apart from the bits where I let the pilot show off, fun but I'm glad I hadn't had a big breakfast!).

I've only flown twice, and I let the pilot handle it both times. Speaking of the power of water, when I was editing the video of the trip, there is one section where we are standing fairly close to the falls. Watching the finished video, I felt that there wasn't enough "oomph" behind the sequence, so I added in THREE layers of earthquake sound effects under the natural sounds of the falls to help impart a sense of massive power. When I watch it on my home theater setup I can get the walls to shake! This is Part 1, the sequence I was talking about starts about the 2:46 mark.

Wow! The music definitely fits the power of the falls. I really liked the darkness pic of someone I think was your wife, during the fireworks. It really is an incredibly powerful place. Your daughter was a great sport to stand under the shower, lol It's definitely not a place for people with mobility problems. Jo, you and I aren't going any time soon.

That is fantastic Bazookagoof love, thank you for sharing. I liked the first shot, you have quite a kick there sir LOL!! No, it isn't for us Piggles love which is why it is so nice when Bazookagoof brings it to us. Not the same as being there obviously but we can capture the beauty.

Thanks again for the compliments. I am glad I can bring these sights to you, if you can't see them in person. Here is Part 2, this section has the helicopter sequence: Oh, and just so everyone understands the opening scene- we did have a fire alarm go off in the middle of the night in our hotel room, but there was no actual danger. My wife wanted me to record the loudspeaker announcement, so I just recreated the experience with some special effects.

Bad luck about the middle of the night awakening but glad you got some value out of it!
Really looks like an amazing place to visit. I'm sure fella and I can drag our Winnebago up there when we're on our retirement trip?!
I love your daughter's face seeing the water rushing down when you first go under the falls - she soon gets over that!
