I have 2 Guinea pigs both 6 months old and 1 is always sitting in the food bowel( I have 2 but he only likes to sit in the one upstairs) and if I put food in it he will tip it over so he can sit in it comfortably again is this normal?

Welcome to Wheekers!
I've had little ones who have sat in their food bowls. Never an adult, but the bowls aren't big enough! Plus I use pretty heavy bowls that they can't tip, so they have to sit in there with the pellets, which always seems like the motivation anyway!
Interesting that your little one tips the food out - if it's a rounded bowl, it probably feels quite cosy? I wouldn't worry about it provided he has other places to sit/ hide that are comfy - it sounds quite cute!

Hello and welcome to Wheekers Totally normal. They entertain themselves in what seems like strange ways to us. I had hay holders mine used to sit in, could hardly move, but couldn't wait to get in there. It means something to them. We don't have to understand
