You will, of course, post a video of those tips for the rest of us, lol. I've been there with Zippy too often, and there's no putting them down and going about our business when they are so miserable. I'm glad Squeekie is doing better. I hope, now that the dam has broken, his system will get back to normal.
We're all pulling for you little guy. Give your poor Mom a break and get better.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry you had all that worry with Squeekie developing bloat and going in to stasis, but thank goodness you were able to get him through it with all your fantastic nursing care, and help from Wendi and Karen. I hope things have continued improving from getting him through that, and that Squeekie's appetite is coming back xxx

Just checking in on our little sweetheart I hope each day is a little bit better for you. Maybe Mummy can play some Simon and Garfunkel for you. Artie has such a sweet voice and I know it would sooth your tum.

Aww thanks so much for all your lovely messages. Squeekie still isn't wanting to eat , he still has a mini nibble of grass or cucumber but nothing is tempting him to eat more. He used to be such a good timothy hay eater, sadly he just turns away from it. His poops are still coming slowly, not anywhere near enough as I'd like but at least something is coming. I'm off to the vets again tommorow as I won't be able to go over the Easter holidays so at least Aiden can take another look at Squeekie. Penny is also coming along as I'm afraid the mucus and sneezing has come back *sigh* so Aiden wants to see her too and maybe try yet another antibiotic. Penny is fine in herself though and eating really well. Beatrix and Bunny Thumps are very well. Beatrix keeps washing Squeekie's face, I think shes after a tasty piece of Critical Care or she could just be helping Squeekie keep extra clean To help keep a more detailed record about my lovely boy Squeekie, I've started to try and update my diary more often when time allows. jackiesguineapiggies.com/piggydiary.html I think its good to have a record of meds, dosages etc too. I will let you know how both Squeekie and Penny get along. Janet, will get out my Art Garfunkle cd, well Squeekie's middle name is Garfunkel

Morning Jackie
Good luck with the trip to Aiden - is John able to take you there and back? I hope you dont have to do the bus version with bun and guin.
Morning Squeekie.... sorry your auntie didnt get to call last night. The Slug informed me on the way to Asda (thasda! Peter Kay!), that one of the bulbs had gone in the car - as we are planning on going down to Mum's early on Friday morning and getting back late, we had to go to Halfords first to buy the new bulb, which meant a detour across Reading... so we didnt end up getting in until late and then I had to cook tea, etc.
Im home tonight though and will give you a call when I get in.

Aww I'm sorry Squeekie's appetite hasn't perked up yet, but it sounds like you're doing an amazing job of keeping his tum going. I'm really sorry Penny's mucous has returned too, but it's good she's still fine in herself. You must be worn out with all the worry and nursing care, but I know you'd do absolutely anything for your furry family.
Good luck at the vets, Jackie. It's a very good idea going before the holiday weekend starts. Like Anna said, I hope your hubby is able to take you.

Thanks everyone. Squeekie is now on a different antibiotic, the same one Penny started off with so hopefully by tommorow, if its going to help, I'll start seeing improvements in Squeekie. He actually pooped alot at the vets yesterday, probably due to stress. Squeekie has gained weight which is good so all the handfeeding is helping keep his weight ok. Will update the buns thread soon but Penny is also on a new 'injectable antibiotic. Twice aday for 3 months so I really hope all the injections work for her. Its a much smaller needle. Thanks again for thinking of Squeekie
