OMG! I put Pip away with the hay bag, after I cleaned the Pigloo City! All three were in there, in the way, as usual. I cleaned out all the used hay, and as I always do, put the whole big trash bag of hay in the cage. The pigs love it, and run in and out of the opening, though rarely into the hay itself. I pulled out handful after handful, and filled Pigloo City with puffy hay. I couldn't see any pigs, so never realized there were only two pigs in the there. I put the bag of hay back in the waste bin I used to house it, and went about my business.
A little before dinner, I went to the cage with three pieces of fennel, and could only find two pigs. I pulled the bag of hay out of the waste bin, but didn't feel her in there. Hubby got the bag of used hay out of the trash, and we went all through that. I moved all the hay in Pigloo City. No Pip!
Finally hubby pulled out the hay bag I had checked, and checked it again, announcing she was in there. She's fine, and has a great story to tell the others. I'm a total basket case thinking about what could have happened. She wants to be with her piggy friends. I want to snuggle her until I know she's absolutely fine(or I'm absolutely fine).
To say the least, I lost my appetite for dinner. OMG!

Oh my goodness, I went through that with you just reading it!
Ours often free range while the cage is being cleaned and I've had a couple of times where if the bin bag or hay bag had fallen down a bit, one would started trundling into the bag, so I'm already hyper alert and do a subconscious head count before I move any bags away. It doesn't bear thinking about, does it?
Glad Pip is safe and well - hope your heart rate has come down now!

Once the fluffy hay is on the cage, all we can see is movement under the hay. I'll be super vigilant from now on 💝 Pip was not happy with me last night, but has forgiven me 💝 Here are some pics of the girls, and the latest setup in Pigloo City.

I'd love to see some closeups of them if you get a chance.

I'm curious to know if they'll leave that formation of hideys and the tunnel, or rearrange them? Looks fun!
Glad Pip has forgiven you - hope you've forgiven yourself too!

The tubes in the back are a a T and two elbows, so three openings. A pigloo-ette covers each opening, so they can weave in and out of all the openings in so many different configurations. They're having a great time with it I bought some new tubes/tunnels, because my connectors are so old, they break more often than they connect. I have a whole box of Ts, Elbows and Straights, but my connectors just aren't up to the job. I should look for extra connectors. Baz, I will have to have Vic hold them, as they are so fast, by the time I get them centered in the picture, they aren't there anymore

Ah it's actually all fixed together. Not so easy for them to rearrange!

Ah. I was waiting for some more of these! Thanks for the new pics, Squeak is still my new favorite (I just love how her fur pattern matches Oscar's and Stilgar's!)

The girls are having a great time with the latest version of Pigloo City. The chew log is in the back, on its side so the girls can go through it, and on or out of the back door of the HMS Piggy Wiggy. We've had cold, rainy weather, so the girls are snuggling under the lofts, and playing through the log and house set up until they get exhausted. Happy piggies 🤗

Nice to see them - I'm still not 100% used to the lovely newbies yet, we haven't seen that much of them (I'm not having a dig, you're much, much better at posting photos that I am!). I just feel like I know Noodles much better!
Love the paper bag fun - there's been some of that here this week, they soon disappeared!

Squeak under one loft, Noodles and Pip under the other 🤗 These pictures were, and still are, crystal clear on my tablet, but not on Wheekers?

Bean's probably the only one who might remember that my Dallas piggy was a jumper. He jumped off my shoulder, off daughter's bed, out of the cage. He was determined. Then I had to separate Momo from the Momo, Mia, Morty group, had no way to put a cage next to Mia and Morty, so Momo ended up on top of Mia and Morty. Luckily we had a very thickly padded carpet on that floor, as Momo found every possible way to jump out of her cage. She was in Pigloo City, Apartment 2, as opposed to Mia and Morty in Pigloo City, Apartment 1, lol I think Momo thought, if she could jump just right, she'd be back in with Mia and Morty. Since Mia physically tossed her out of the cage, which is why Momo was in a separate cage, that wouldn't have been a good idea. This morning, I was getting the girls' breakfast ready. The fleece was still over the cage, and plop. I looked over and there was Squeak, sitting on the floor, looking lost. As with the others, she was happy to be picked up, cuddled, checked all over, and returned the Pigloo City. I'm hoping she's learned her lesson. I think they thought the fleece provided a stronger barrier than it did. Also like the others, she seems no worse for the fall/jump, but I do hope she won't make a habit of it.

Glad Squeak is no worse for her acrobatics. She probably heard those veggies being chopped and wanted to get to them before Pip!
Most of mine have more curiosity than sense, so I'm more comfortable removing opportunities for them to prove that to me! Tissue is a big pig and can easily stretch over the 12" grids. I definitely think she could leap it if she really wanted, and if I had a male, I'd want the divide to be higher! But when we know our pigs well, we generally get a sense for what they will/ won't do.

When I had Morty neutered, I put a grid over the divider grid, like a T, so he couldn't climb over. It worked, and he definitely wanted to be with the ladies, who also wanted to be with him. Every morning(except this morning), the girls are standing with their hands on the side of the cage, bumping the fleece with their noses. We play a game of me patting each nose, and they like it, as they know I've acknowledged them. I think Squeak thought the fleece was more stable than it was, and when she put her weight on it, it let go, as it's not attached anywhere, and she fell. Only about a meter, if that, so it surprised her more than anything. Also, since she's never had floor time, the floor is totally foreign to her, so she wasn't at all sure what to do. As I said, she was quite happy to be picked up by me, snuggled to make sure she was okay, and returned to the cage. She was quiet for her, most of yesterday, but started to get her confidence back by dinner time Today, she was on top of the HMS Piggy Wiggy, which she's seen Pip do, so we're watching that to make sure they don't push it over too close to the edge.
