They are all so gorgeous and I especially like Nerys' colour and markings. They look very happy in their garden. Have to say as well that I love your garden and the setting - beautiful.

Lovely pigtures. Mine don't piggy train anymore, since Zippy, and I miss it so much. That is a lovely garden. What type of development is planned for field, residential or industrial? I hope there are enough buffers to keep you beautiful garden quiet.

Residential - but with over a thousand houses right on the other side of that school field at the bootom of our garden, spoiling that lovely view!
We are hoping for the next elections and a change in government...

Oh dear - hope the development doesn't get the green light. We have been fighting one near us as well so know what it is like. It won't spoil our view nor will they even be seen from our house but instead of using the access to the road that is already there from the site the developer wants to cut through to our development and use us as access for the new development (and of course all the construction vehicles). We live right on the edge of our development on to a quiet country lane so no way we want this access.

As far as has been told to our hastily formed residents' group there will be different access with their own school and facilites. But the settlement will virtually connect Coventry and Kenilworth (where house prices are a lot higher, just because you're out of the city!), so everybody here hopes that those plans will be buried VERY deep indeed!!! Coventry would basically loose its greenbelt to the South.

I lived in Cov for 3 years as went to Uni there and I also have family in Solihull so know the area quite well. Have friends living near Lemington also. Sounds like a massive development and would certainly destroy the green belt. Hope it gets buried.

As of yesterday late evening, there is a beautiful coronet lady reserved for me at Becklen rescue. Her name is Peggy, but I am going to call her Cariad (Welsh for "Darling"). She should fit right in with my tribe, what do you think? ;D Can't wait to construct a new C&C piggy palace fit for a princess and pick her up!

I think she will be a perfect fit and can't wait to see her settled in with your other girls. When you get her I'd love to know what her coat feels like. I've noticed so much variation in the texture of the long hair coats. Little Tia is like silk and her hair just falls through the comb but Tansy's and my sheltie boy, Whisky, have slightly coarser coats - still soft but just not as smooth as Tia's. Teasle's curls are just very coarse!

I expect the coat to be on the silkier side, but we have to wait and see!

What beautiful new pictures, she really is stunning and I bet you can't wait to get her home now. Her coat looks silky in those photos. Beautiful girl.
Are you ready for all that grooming! It's quite funny in some ways here. I lift each of the girls out in turn, set her on my knee and give her a brush. To hear the wheeks you would think I was torturing them. I get a lot of dog walkers in the lane by my house and I'm sure they must wonder what I am doing. I usually get Whiskey (my sheltie) and give him his brush after finished with the girls. He is so quiet compared to them and to think I used to think he was the complainer.

Becky said that Cariad was actually quite cuddly once picked up; so I live in hope! Cariad's hair looks very silky indeed.
My first own piggy back in the eighties was a longhair and he was always doing this trampolining act on my lap... ;D
At least, the wait won't be anywhere near as long as the one for Taffy, which I had to wait for for over two months until the pups were born and Tegan was old enough for adoption.

How exciting for you. Cariad is such a beautiful girl. I bet you can't wait until she comes home. Are you going to bring Cariad home, or is a person from the rescue bringing her to you? How much longer do you have to wait?

We are arranging for a pickup at the end of the month, as the closest fosterer is only 40 mins from my mother-in-law's, who we will be staying with for a long weekend. Whether we are going up to the fosterer or she is coming down depends on her shift work schedule! I still can't believe my luck!

Ooh, if my Zippy were still here he'd be sending some wheeks her way, lol. She's gorgeous. Glad you have a pick up plan. She's going to be a lovely addition to your herd.
Yes, C&C cages tend to come to life and start morphing into designs we never planned when we got the pigs or the C&C stuff, lol.
