Cheers guys. Especially with si away I am making most of evening cuddles with flick and she just chills out on my chest! The mutts stare at me licking their lips! Although they never seem to want to jump up near to her which is good! Pretty sure they would know what would happen if they tried anything on lol!

Dog liked the pigs, and cat was afraid of them

Our piggies tend to bite Holly on the nose if she puts her nose into their pen which is fair enough. In every other way, Holly definately rules, even over us LOL!

glittze, that's fantastic news. Adorable piggie picture! I would never have thought that piggies would keep dogs at bay successfully...good to know I wish I could be a fly on the wall and see them tell the dogs what for

She's big and beautiful girl I'm glad she's a good cuddler. Makes it so much easier when you are tired. I've had some great cuddlers, and some that were always on the move

Definitely voluptuous my Morty is a good 5 pounds. He's not fat. He's big. Probably part Rex or Cuy. She looks good snd solid, and that's what counts

I know it isn't a popular belief but I would always want my pets to be slightly overweight rather than underweight.

This is a hard post to write but I know it's for the best.. The last few days flick was making it obvious that she wanted more and more attention and I felt so bad that her nightly cuddles were not enough. So my uncle took her to her lovely new home today. I feel like I have abandoned her and let her down but I know it's for the best as she will have an old friend for company and my uncles family work from home and they have a number of piggies and buns that get spoilt! I was so upset when he took her but then he sent me this picture and it made me realised we had done the right thing! We decided not too take another piggy on as we have so much on out plates at the moment it would not be fair as would not be able to give them the attention they needed! Feels so odd the house being hay free for the first time in five years! Not sure I like it. Although I am sure my allergies will! Hope I am still welcome here even tho I am now piggyless :-( Attachments:

Of course you are welcome, even pigless That's a great picture, and you did the right thing. She's so happy having another pig friend I do hope you will become piggy parents again some day. You were great at it

Aww she looks very happy. If it's not the right time for you to take on another pig but you knew she needed company, then it's much better she's got that company. And with her living with your family, it's not like you won't be able to see her and keep up with how she's doing. Very sad for you of course, but knowing she's happy and getting what she needs will make that a lot easier. And as 3piggles said, don't even think about going anywhere just because you haven't got pigs! I was on here pigless for a few years myself at one point. my Morty is a good 5 pounds. Noooooo! That's massive! He's certainly a healthy looking boy but I had no idea he was so big! Think the heaviest boy I've had has been just over 3lbs, I can't imagine 5lb, more like a cat haha!

That's why I think he's part Rex of Cuy. He's all funky hair, a couple of curling nails but not all, 5 pounds but doesn't overeat, and does a mean popcorn

Oh sweetie, what a lovely unselfish thing to do, it must be so hard. You can look forward to the time when you have other piggies, when you feel able to give them more attention.
