Oh no! Look at it this way though, now you know he can't have corn. Slowly you will be able to pinpoint what causes the congestion and remove those things from his diet.

I agree with faafaa. Also, you know he needs the menthol treatments at least part of every day, so it may be time rig something in both places. It's not a cure, just something to help get him through.

A friend got the Vicks plug ins for her dog, and said they worked really well. She said it's a table top item, so I guess it can go anywhere. Her dog has chronic sinus/allergy problems, and she said the dog finally got a good nights sleep

Update... Wound has scabbed over nicely. Thank you every one on calming me down regarding this. I have to say that I was freaking out a bit.
After the last Vicks vaposteam treatment, Weasley breathing is back to where we can't hear it.
Hay/Kibble... Since we got the new hay and Kibble, I have noticed that they are eating mostly hay. I'm not sure if that means that they love the hay that much or dislike the new Kibble. They are presently at the 3/4 portion of the new Kibble. For example, I filled two Kibble bowls on Sunday with what is said to be a daily portion. They still have quite a bit left. I'm still feeding then a Vit. C tablet every day, so I'm not concerned. Specially after the vet said that they could live just on hay and no Kibble just fine as long as they get vit . C somehow.
So in short, Weasley and Harry are two happy and healthy piggies. ☺

The new kibble may be a lot more filling, so the eat less of itm I remember going through endless boxes and bags of the junk foods before I kneecto buy Oxbow. Not only did they ttssh a lot less out of the bowl, but the seemed to do better on less. Excellent news on the breathing front

Weasley sounded like he was getting a little congested, so I set up another Vaposteam. While I was doing that I started to wonder if they weren't eating the kibble because it had had Vicks Vaposteam remnants on it. So I just turned of the vaporizer, dumped the food that has been there since Sunday, put in fresh kibble. They both immediately went to their bowls. When I do the vaposteam in the future, I'm going to have to take out their kibble bowls.
Auntie Jo, I'm not sure if you saw earlier, but we aren't as afraid when Mama puts her hands in the cages since she mainly rubs our noses now. That isn't scary. Thank you for giving her the idea back. Thanks for the cuddle. {Message from Harry & Weasley to you}

I greet my kids with a finger or knuckles just inside the cage. They sniff it until they are satisfied. I do all three separately, though sometimes Morty and Mia sniff my hand together. Then intros are done, and we do whatever is on the agenda. They learn much of their info from smell. Also put your hand into the cage at their eye level rather than from above, as predators attack from above. Understanding their mentality goes a long way with our commutation.

For those who are filing away information about using Vicks Vaposteam, I have confirmed my suspicion that the vaposteam leaves something on the kibble that the boys don't want to eat. I have further discovered that the top layer of their hay was being ignored for the same reason. I'm now only giving the Vaposteam during floor time in The Burrow where there is no hay and kibble to contaminate.

Yes, that is one for the memory. I remember when my mother used to spread Vick all over my chest when I had a cold as a child and I hated it.
