Bean, I tried that, but it didn't work. Weird. I'll work on this when I have more time in the future, but we have a new puppy in the house so my life just got busier. Harry & Weasley are housed where our newest addition a 4 month old Shih-Poo (Shih Tzu/Poodle) rarely goes (intentional at this time). However, I've noticed behavior changes. Harry I have been able to come out of his pigloo, but Weasley has even become nervous of me except for when I'm fresh out of a shower. How do you help your piggies with having other animals in the house? A good part of the reason why we got the breed we did get is they aren't known for looking at small animals as prey and he is too small to reach Hogwarts (where Harry & Weasley live).

A couple of mine can be suspicious/ nervous of other animal smells on us too. A couple are curious/ don't care less if we smell different.
I've no tips to help get them used to it though, sorry - the only other pets we have around all the time are the foster buns and none of the pigs are bothered by their smells, or by seeing them through mesh in the garden.
Maybe it's jut a case of them getting used to it when they realise that although there are new smells, nothing bad happens? Hagrid is still very new so they haven't had much time to get used to the change in aromas yet. Mine are always a bit phased when they go somewhere different (when we go away) but the longer they're there, the more they chill.
Hope Weasley relaxes soon.

Thanks Bean. I reverted back to how I treat a new pig. I leave him alone on Hogwarts, speak in a higher voice to him and feed veggies to him in Hogwarts (we had gotten to where veggies where only fed when held). This morning Weasley looks less traumatized. Harry is back to normal and even popcorned this morning.

Our new piggy is very nervous too Silamb love and we keep trying to make him relax. Once we have him he will snuggle down but it is the getting caught bit he doesn't like.

Ooh, a new puppy So exciting I'm glad the boys are starting to get sorted, and that they are finished with health scares. It's hard for them to change environments. They know every site, sound and smell, what's normal, and what's not. That's how they know if a predator is near, in the wild. We never moved the pigs away from the dogs and cats, or from people they didn't know. They were in the cage in the living room through 5 cats, 2 dogs and daughter with her school friends shreeking through Once we were down to one old dog and one old cat, they were in a C&C cage on the dining room floor, and no one bothered them. If anything, the dog and cat sometimes lay by the cage, as there was usually something happening in there. I wouldn't suggest moving them back right now, but once you have the puppy trained to a point that makes you comfortable, I would put them all together, and let the noisiest area be their norm

Thanks everyone! Right now we have Hagrid in the living room. Our goal is to get him into the same room where Harry & Weasley are. Watching Weasley, I've been rethinking that. But in reading what you wrote, I feel confident that making that move will be OK. Right now I'm working hard to keep Hagrid out of the room they are in just until Weasley gets used to hearing and smelling him around.
