That is a odd little lump. It sorta looks like a blood blister, as long as it's not bothering him now I would just keep a close eye on it for any changes. You did well spotting it as it was so small under his fur! Xx

I think the mystery is solved. I think it was some sort of wound. The next thing that appeared was a scab and then new skin after that. Do you think it could have been a nip from Harry? I've seen Harry nip a little at Weasley, but I didn't think he was breaking skin. Now, I don't know.

It's possible that it was a nip, and most likely, if there's nothing in the cage that could have caused it. Pigs do nip to establish dominance. As long as Weasley doesn't seem bullied by it, and it only caused a blister, I wouldn't worry about it. Glad it's healing

They can be quite mean to each other sometimes, but I am so glad it is on the mend love.

They can be mean, can't they? It's hard to accept that as normal, sometimes.

They certainly are love. When the fur goes up and they rumble-strut it is quite intimidating, imagine how it seems to another piggie.

Okay, so I have a question. If Weasley is getting these periodic little marks but isn't acting totally afraid of Harry and actually misses Harry, should I be worried?

If you feel happy they are generally getting on and the marks are occasional, I wouldn't worry. It might not even be Harry inflicting them. Just watching them for a while usually gives you a good feel for how they're doing and until boys have reached maturity, little spats aren't uncommon, so just use your spidey senses and ride out the small stuff!

I wouldn't worry about it. If he's okay with it, and not hurting or acting bullied, I would let them work it out.
Just in case, check the cage for anything that could make those marks. It might not be a bite.

Got a problem over here .Soo my piggy has been ill or i noticed that somethig is wrong with her around 20 september or a couple of days later .Went straight away to the the vet,she prescribed 2 shots of cirprofloxacin + prednizolon or (Prednisone ) i don't know how you spell it . I apologized and ask why not baytrill ( it turned out she had bronhitis or has ),she told me she dosen't have the weight she had then 590 grams. Than things got better and than again (not as much as the first time ) stuffy nose but when you put a finger on her right nose and hear the lungs nothing everything is alright. I didn't mention she is 8 years old ,today was her 18 day ( every day f the teen two shots of the mentiond above) maybe i m worring to much ,she is kind a better that two weeks agoo.I don't know anymore i m desperate ,i don't wan to go to another vet becouse here we dont have vets that are for guinea pigs and well the one i visited before this one ,said and i qoute ''Your pig is gonna die''. I changed the bedding put a blanked insted of wood chip, bought new food ,started giving her b complex and vitamin c , marshmallow tea ( she told me and i did research is safe ) ..

I know the Vick's Vaposteam helps my Weasley's congestion. Maybe helpful for you.
I'm sorry. I know how heartbreaking it is to watch your Piggie struggle.

Lee, once he was at his worst I had to have him breathe it all day. It may take 2 to 3 days when it's really bad. And then it may be necessary to periodically have a treatment to maintain.
