Perhaps compile the pictures first, see how long the compilation is, and then decide which song to use. It sounds like a fun project

Oh gawd, I've started going through the pictures - it's taken me ages to do just a couple of years and I've got way too many! I'll need use the entire works of The Beatles to accompany it at this rate. It's been fun looking through them all, but I'm dubious about the success of my project!

I know, it's intimidating, given the scope of the work. Since you have so much, I would just pick a song and put up all your favorite pics. If you start overthinking it, the project starts to sag under its own weight. What I usually do for my daughter is break it down into four categories = four songs. One for my wife and daughter, one for my family members with my daughter, one for only my daughter, and finally my daughter and me!

You're right - focus! What I also need to keep in mind is that if I do it for his birthday, he'll probably want to show it to other people that come round, so I need to make sure it's not an epic bore for anyone other than close family!
I plan to do a couple of years today and I know I've been a lot less snap happy in recent years, so 2010 onwwards should be quicker to get through. I've got my favourite pics sorted so will keep this one simple and if I feel like doing something bigger sometimes, all the photos are ready.

Okay, this is mostly my daughter and niece, but I'll think you'll find them both so photogenic!
(This is the highlights reel, the rest will be later when I find time to edit it.)

Crikey, was that just a long weekend? You packed a lot in! Looks like great fun, the smiles on the girls' faces say it all - looks like zorbing went down especially well!

We crammed all that in about 3 days, so I'd say that's pretty good! A little hectic, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I also tried that "Zorbing" myself; it really gets your heart rate going! (I think they're calling it OGOing over there, it must be a brand name or something like that.) It ended up being more for the kids than the adults, but the grownups got to have some good hiking and driving to scenic points, so I really can't complain. My only grumble is that we didn't get to do any cave exploring, but with everything we were able to do, I'll just be happy with that. Next time, though...

That's the problem with vacationing where there is a great deal to do; you never get to do it all. You know what you want to do when you go back next time

Oh tell me you got a video of you ogoing too! I bet it's even better than the zipwire one! I did, but I really don't want to post it- it doesn't compare to the zipline. I'm frowning the whole time, and I turned the camera away several times in order to get a shot of the hill (because I wanted extra coverage when I edit my daughter and niece taking their turn.) Also, I did the "wet" version, so I'm not wearing my hat. (which is a critical factor!) (There was a "dry" version, but the line to use it was long, and also the same orbs were being used for the wet version, so if you climbed inside one with dry clothes, your clothes would probably be wet when you got out.) 3piggles, you're right about having too much to do! I think we did manage to do most of what we wanted. The cave would have been nice, but I already explored it back in 2005 and just wanted my daughter to experience it. Since there are other caves around, it adds up to a minor grumble, nothing more.

Oh I think the video sounds funny but I'll respect your right to private hatless frowning!

Hatless wet frowning is fine, lol Maybe the girls will get to go on their own, when they're older

From w3hat a remember from a little while ago, you don't look as if you are having much fun in the piccy love Lol! Hugs JO xx Yeah, I was pretty serious during the ride. (the trip?) I smiled at the very end, but that was probably on account of realizing I wasn't going to have a heart attack. Here's something that does make me smile, though: My daughter and my niece playing pool (we threw this together quickly, so it's a little crude, but should be amusing enough.)
