Sorry the electricians brought a fog of perfume with them. It must be so frustrating to ask people in advance and still find they douse themselves before coming round.
I always wished I was smaller so I wouldn't be allowed on the rides! I can't bear them (I get motion sickness so feel ghastly both during and for hours after) and would have loved a solid reason to refuse - otherwise everyone spends ages twisting your arm to go on things, thinking you'll have a good time in the end! I declined several trips that were based around rides because I knew I'd be nagged, but some places just have a couple and and you could hear the murmurs of persuasion starting as soon as they were in sight!

People do seem to have generally grown larger Piggles love. I know Henry the VIII was six foot and he was considered very tall for that time. Oh dear, trust one of them to have been liberal with the aftershave, I hope you were OK. Haha, naughty Oodles but I would rather a friendly pig that had the occasional accident on me.
I am sorry you were almost bullied into having rides Bean sweetie, why can't people be more understanding with someone like yourself? Just because it is great fun for them doesn't mean it will be for you.

Typical, really. Those who want to be tall enough aren't. Those who don't want to be tall enough are. I really liked some rides, but not all. Last time I went on those spinning tea cup rides, was at Disney World, and I really could have vomited afterward. Learned my lesson. My amusement park ride days are over.

It is true Piggles love, we are never happy with what we have. I know the rides you speak of, we call them Waltzers or the Switchback. I loved riding on them and still would but I can understand that once something like that has made you sick, you never want to go on it again. It is the dive bomber I never went on, I did not like the thought of being upside down in the air.

I love the merry go round, riding the fake horses was as close as I came to riding a real horse for quite a few years. I did finally get a horse, but still love the merry go round horses, with all their fabulous decorations I was never a good one for the upside down or the toss me all over the place rides, and roller coasters depended on the actual coaster, and how smoothly it worked. The ones that left my stomach behind weren't my favorites, and I didn't do any of the upside down ones.

Me too Piggles hunni, I would still enjoy a ride on them if I could get on.
