I totally forget we had changed months despite most of my Facebook friends posting Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit, or White rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit. I'm happy to say we survived April Fool's Day. Probably helps to forget about it, which we did Happy April, everyone <3

Ah well, spotted. We were away, so I didn't realise it was April until later in the afternoon, so if someone played an April Fool's trick on me, I must have fallen for it!

Cute, he/she has some good cover there. We sometimes see one passing through our garden first thing, but the time we see them most is mating season when they're all chasing each other around and much less concerned with staying hidden than usual!

Temps got as high as 70 (Fahrenheit) today, which was good- they're remodelling the break room at work and moved the fridge in front of the coat hooks, so I had no place to hang my jacket. I had to run back to my car and leave it there. Unfortunately, tomorrow will be colder by 20 degrees, and they are still working on the break room. To add insult to injury, they put up a temporary break room elsewhere but didn't bother installing a water cooler- so we have no water to drink all day. Just another indignity I live with lately.

Oh that's rubbish - is it even legal to not provide/ allow water during the course of a full working day? Happy Easter weekend to anyone celebrating - I believe it's also Passover, so Happy Passover too!

I love the Easter banner <3 I've wished all my Facebook friends a happy Passover. I think it's also orthodox Easter this weekend, so tonight I will wish everyone a happy Easter. We don't celebrate anything, but it's a great time for food sales and maintaining food traditions, even if we're nowhere near anyone else in the family. We have a good time cooking for the holidays

Oh that's rubbish - is it even legal to not provide/ allow water during the course of a full working day? Most people bring their own bottled water, so it's not an issue for them. Also, I think someone tried to tell me there was water in another part of the building, but that darned language barrier got in the way. In any case, I spent my breaks drinking from the tap in the washroom... a most unsatisfying experience. At least I stayed hydrated, more or less.

Sounds reasonable to bring a water bottle. You can fill that up from the tap, and it's much more satisfying. Been there when I worked in a factory. Most bosses would rather have you keep water in a spill-proof bottle at your station, than have you constantly wandering off to get some.

Only trouble is that I can't keep it on me- we're all wearing protective gear and everything needs to be sterile, so they also don't allow cell phones and jewelry for the same reason. I'm not in danger of collapsing from dehydration, so I don't worry too much. It's not like UPS or the last job where they worked me nonstop to exhaustion.

We're getting temps in the 70's right now, but I noticed that next week that snow is on the way!
It won't last, of course- but nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to weather these days.

Snow!! Wow!! We were in the 70s today, but 80s the last two days. We're finally cooling down, but nothing close to snow. You getting it from Canada? You're a lot closer to the still cold/snowy parts of Canada than we are, though I read that Quebec had a major ice storm. It was really cool. Everything was coated in at least an inch of clear ice. Not good for the physical infrastructure, though The BAA Marathon is Monday. That's also called the Boston Marathon, and it's been 10 years since the bomb exploded at the finish line on Boylston Street in Boston, killing and maiming a lot of people. There was a manhunt for the two bombers, one of whom was killed, and the other was finally caught in a boat in a backyard in Waltham. He's still on trial. I think there have been changes in whether or not he'll get the death penalty. Monday is the tenth running of the marathon since that awful day. I hope it's uneventful! We're getting the presidential candidates in force. All republican, of course, as technically the democratic national committee is backing Joe Biden for a second term. I wonder if he'll win? Having a democrat as president doesn't seem to have helped women's rights at all I almost don't care if tRump is convicted or not, as long as something happens so he can't run for president again. Can a convicted felon run for president? Baz, do you remember when the mayor of DC was convicted on all sorts of felony charges, sent to prison, and re-elected as soon as he got out of prison? It's America. Anything is possible!

We got our snow, although it didn't stick. Compared to a few days ago, it was brutally cold and we put the heat back on again. Tomorrow is supposed to be slightly warmer, and by Wednesday they say temps will be back in the 70s, but by the weekend we'll be back in the 50's.

I saw it on the weather map on the news. It looks as if quite a storm front blew through your area. We've had some rain, and right now it's in the low 50s feels like mid 40s. Supposed to get down in to the 30s tonight, which is why we don't plant anything when we get our first warm days. You should be well into planting season about a month before we are, though with global warming, I'm never sure when it's going to be planting weather. Seems to be a lot earlier than it was even 10 years ago.

After a mild spell, we're going back to some freezing nights - it's a good job I haven't got carried away and planted anything out yet.
It's the London Marathon today and I just saw an ex-marine on the news, who's running it with a fridge strapped to his back!

Wow! A fridge strapped to his back! I hope he places well! We're getting rain, torrential at times. It's funny because we get the torrential rain, and the rain pools everywhere. Then it goes back to regular rain, the rain starts to soak in, and the huge flooded areas disappear We're having some cold nights, though nothing that would be freezing. It's still way to early to put out the house plants, or anything but the heartiest annuals. Those days are coming. I'm actually happy to not have winter go into summer and skip spring, as it's done too many years in the past.

I'm assuming it's a small fridge, and not the mammoth models everyone has in their kitchen! Still a notable feat in any case.

Haha! Yes, more a counter level fridge rather than the big American style fridges (as we call them over here!).
I had a new washing machine delivered last week, and saw the delivery lorry pull up. A man got out, hopped up into the back and then jumped down about 2 feet while holding a large box. I thought he must be moving an empty box out of the way before using the platform that lowers to get my machine out. But no, that was my machine - he was carrying it around (bulky and over 90kg) like it was nothing. I did goggle a bit, I just can't imagine being that strong - and neither could his delivery partner, who has a much easier ride working with him than with others!
