Aww I really do understand what a hard decision it is for you Merry. If your confident in your vet Merry, I would probably go with any decision he may make. When I questioned my vet when our bunny Thumper was spayed at 6 years old, my vet at the time, Molly, said that age isn't always a factor but their general health is. Its why many good vets would do a full check up before any surgery is considered. I'm sure a good chat with your vet will help you find out as much as you can Merry and then you can hopefully both agree on the best treatment for Shakira. Thinking of you both

Aww bless him, cats really do have nine lives and more don't they.
I can see myself with another cat one day, I do miss Felix and still look near his bush in the garden where he used to love lying down.
How is Purdey doing Lesa?

It's interesting that she seemed to have no idea what she was really in for... Its probably because she has led a quiet life with her cat and just didn't expect all the pressure that can go with fame. Sadly shes in hospital now, suffering from exhaustion.

Aww thank you, glad you liked the funny pic of my Felix. Jackie - I love that picture of Felix. Did he also have those little white hairs or did he get them as he got older - I've noticed Dino getting a few grey hairs. Felix always had that bit of white on him Lesa but it did turn more grey looking as he got older. How old is Dino Lesa?

I love how you call the garden a yard in America. In the UK a yard to us is a slab of concrete about 4 x 4 foot lol
Your lawn is fantastic, lovely and green.
I like how you've lined up all the bottles Butch, its like a little pub for guinea pigs lol

O.k here's a game for us all. Choose a word which starts with the last letter of the word In the previous post Hi guineapigs101, no I'm afraid its still not right. Just read the above post, hopefully that will make things very clear. Donna typed normal so your word should have started with an l I deleated your other post. Can you use the edit button and not double post, thanks. As you put fire, my word is elephant
