Cute! In the first pic it looks like Elsa is following the trail of poos. ''Hmm, what could this lead to?''

Long time no update; I spent ages trying to decide what pics to share, and these are what I have decided. So many cute ones though! I'm afraid there are a lot of Elsa. I hate talking about my losses, except when it really hurts, but I should mention Shasta the rat(one of the agoutis on page one) was pts about a month ago, due to a pituitary gland tumor. He was just under two years old. Anyway. Before I starts bawling, here are some pics of the rest of the clan. Rocky, posing for the camera. Rocky, NOT posing. Beaudine, giving his wise guy look. I needs a hug....or possibly pulvarise you. Whatever. I am gorgeous, yes? Yes! I'm not sure what caption to put with this one. Suggestions? K, what is this stuff? Hmm. He seems to enjoy it. I love the look on his face here. you may caption it yourself, I get different ones every time I look at it. These ones belong to the 'awww' catagory, if you know what I mean. sup? just relaxing with my girl. hehe Chucky. Cyrus. I took these a while ago...this is Corin(Shasta's twin) doing a Mr Burn with his back feet. Tnallecxe? Shiloh Corin again Rillian wonders what the heck I'm doing. n0mming carrot. 'you can't be serious' Caspian curled up with Cyrus under my blanket. They are my two old boys, with Caspian looking very old lately. :-( These ones of the rabbits were actually taken in the summer. You want something? check out that grass! That's supposed to be our vege garden.....(maybe I shouldn't have said that) just chillin out dis place is mine Ulp...no it isn't. Reuben reigns here! And I had to include a few more pics from that day, of one of out native birds, the tui. wind blowing his feathers You can see the colours here The three of them. There are videos, of them performing their song, if anyones interested? And the weta. Rocky ran away from it lol. Btw Elsa was spayed a few months ago. We left it a wee bit later, as mum was worried about her size. So she was on heat, lol, and having little success with the cats, she fell in love with Beaudine. I'm sure there were pics somewhere...but anyway, she smooched all around, head rubbing him, purring, til the poor dog didn't know what way to look. I swear he was blushing. He started nuzzling her back though, and licking her, when he thought no one was around. lol

I'm so sorry about Shasta. I've had a louse last few months that way, too, so I know how you feel. Glad you still have so many other furballs to keep you company and entertained. Those birds are really cool. I've seen them on nature shows, but never in a regular pic.

Well Prince Caspian passed quietly in his sleep last Thursday afternoon, aged 32 months. His brother Cyrus now lives with Jasper, Corin, and Shiloh.
Thanks guys; weta can be kinda scary! The giant weta(not the one pictured, I *think* that's a tree weta) now have full protection; you could go to jail for a year if you killed one! Same for our most venemous spider.
3piggles; I don't have pets to keep me entertained. They're my best friends.

Elsa is one year old today. For those that don't know, she was born oxygen deprived, and her owners didn't really do anything. At around three months, they decided they were going to keep the rest of the litter, but not her; they asked the vet to put her down. Luckily the vet refused, saying she'd try to find a home for her. That very day, mum happened to come in, with Badger. Louise said she couldn't think of a better home for her, and asked mum if she were interested; 'Because she knew we were soft-touches!'. She was frail, bleary-eyed, and uncoordinated, and about the size of a four week old. It's hard to imagine life without Elsa; she's just so special. She's tiny, but determined to do everything her big brothers(cats and dogs) do; and a little more. Reuben the rabbit is the only animal to keep her down; even when the other cats have enough, and bash her around, she's up again straight away, and at them again! 'Nuff rambling, here's a couple of pics. I was trying to take photos of Rilian, who was sick, and she kept interupting, demanding I photograph her. And I mean demanding! I'm beautiful.. What else could you possibly be taking photos of?! What's up there, anyway? snuggles. Some older ones, but my favorites. She could also be saying, "Gimme that camera! No photos!" As someone else suggested, but Elsa NEVER says no to photos. As you can see... Happy Birthday, darling. May you continue to climb halfway in my window, meow until I move the curtain aside for you, and then climb out again without even coming in, and shred wall-paper, and leap out of bushes, violently attacking feet, and lick all the marmite off my toast, leaving me with a soggy piece of bread, and trip people up as they rush down the hallway, and smooch around, snuggling people, and turning your back, ignoring us until you want something, and standing up to see better, walking on your back feet to keep an eye on things, and raking the water with your paw, to make it move before drinking, and doing the hundred and one special, unique CrAzY Elsa things no kitten does. Love you darling; everyone does.

It's now been just over a year since Elsa came here; check out the difference! She's a precious wee girl. and just one of Jasper, at christmas time. And Corin, pea fishing. I now have only five rats(Jasper, Corin, Shiloh, Rilian, and Bree) and one rabbit(reuben). Plus the dogs and cats, of course.

Elsa's beautiful and I love her tail - so full and fluffy! Adorable rats, as well. Gotta love the pea fishing! I had rats about 10 years ago. One of them would sit on my shoulder while I cleaned the house, watched tv, etc. She was such a sweetie.

No, she isn't a polydactyl. Elsa says thank you, she already knew she was stunning, but she appreciates being reminded so. Corin is an agouti, which is a fairly common color. He's growing old, so he's starting to do the one-handed wash thing. It's summer over here, so the boys love pea-fishing. At least, some do; Jasper and Bree refuse to get their hands wet, and steal the others' peas!
