Aww! Another adorable little lady, and a tortoise shell and white Abyssinian piggy as well! ;D I love that name- Beatrix! It's wonderful that you have already thought about getting Squeekie a friend! What a caring mother you are?! I do not wish to make you feel upset by reminding you of Sweetpea but I was wondering what will happen to "Sweet Pea Fragrances"?

Oh how wonderful Jackie! It is just fantastic news that you have found another little piggy to give a loving home too! Squeekie will be so pleased to not be alone. How long will it take before the two of them can be together? Have you got a list going on the name choices? I will be happy to add a name or two but I will need more information about her sweet personality traits first? Is she a shy little thing? Is she a sweet little diva who will rule the pig pen? is she a Yack~O~Matic like Miss Holly? Is she a snuggle girl?
She is absolutely beautiful Jackie! I can see why you were drawn to her. I bet that was so hard not to take them all! You have such a big heart! I love her Jackie! But I bet she chose YOU!

Fabulous news Jackie, and a very good choice, I know how hard it is to choose when you get there, so many pigs needing a chance at a proper home.
Hope she settles well, and Squeeks finds a soul mate.

Awwwww! This is GREAT news! She is absolutely gorgeous and very lucky that you adopted her. She is going to have a great new life! I hope she is settling in well. Names.. hmm, I love Wilma! What about Dora, Amber, Summer or Maisie? I’m not too good on names to be honest, but I’m sure you will choose the perfect one!

Aww Jackie, I am so very happy for you and Squeekie. Your new little girl is gorgeous, and I think she has a touch of little Sweetpea in her face. From abandoned in a park, to the house of one of the best piggy Mummies in England... she couldn't have fared better! ;D I really like the name Beatrix too.

Thank you for all the lovely messages welcoming my new little lady. I see a particular name is popular but thank you for all the suggestions too and now for the grand announcement *drum roll* Her chosen name is Beatrix Beatrix: The meaning of the name Beatrix is Bringer Of Joy The origin of the name Beatrix is English A famous Beatrix: Beatrix Potter I've always loved Beatrix Potter books and its how I came up with the name Beatrix. I've now told her her new name and she replied if you please'm". I usually go for flower/plant names but couldn't think of any I liked for her and thought she really suited Beatrix, sorry anna lol but glad you like Beatrix too ;D Janet, yes she is wearing patchy trousers isn't she Alyssa, yes she does have a mohawk on her back, she isn't an abby as there is no rossettes, I think Elaine mentioned ridge back but not sure if that is a particular breed. Linda, I'm sure my little Sweetpea is running Sweetpea's Inc at rainbow bridge and I still have my lovely creams and lotions from her Auntie Janet and treasure them Val I'll be leaving introductions for a few more days. There is a few piggies with fungal problems at the rescue so just want to make sure Beatrix is completly healthy first. She is showing no signs at all but I'd rather play safe even though I can't wait for Squeekie to meet her properly. I'll try and take some more pictures soon.
