Pet Photo Update... Indy & Zuul Mushka Spunky (front) & Fat Bunny Fat Bunny Tomorrow a new cat will be coming home... Nadia She is a little year old kitten - only 6 lbs!!!! Unfortunately she has had a hard life so far; She was taken form an animal hoarder, and has had a litter of kittens, but they all died she was far too young to be having kittens since she is still a baby herself. She is a bit swollen in the belly and has some milk left form the pregnancy. She is very calm and mellow...but who knows she could turn out to be crazy just like all my other pets. Hopefully she gets along with Kiva and the pigs...

Welcome Nadia! She is just about the cutest little thing I have ever seen! Nadia is a little timid, but warms up quickly. She is very calm and mellow and loves to be pet, she is living the good life now!!! It was hard to pick just one cat...there was an adorable black kitten at the shelter too. Her name was Pepper and she was super playful and all up in your face demanding attention, reminded me of Kiva!!! I chose Nadia because she was mellow and a year+ old (looks like a kitten). Kittens get adopted quickly, but cats don't. I have always wanted a white cat, and a brown tabby...Nadia is both! The next day I went back to the shelter to check on Nadia (she needed to be fixed before coming home) and I saw that Pepper had been adopted. If she wasn't I probably would have adopted her too! Meanwhile: Kiva is not amused...lol

Aw, she's great! She has a wonderful home, now, and lots of human and animal friends. Can't think of a better life for her. Kiva will come around, once sure she's not planning on becoming boss cat!

Yes, another cat, but he is soooooo cute and fluffy! Say hello to Ace, AKA Crinkle McRuffle Whiskers formally known as Raven. This little guy is such a sweetheart - He loves you. I know he has not met you yet but he loves you, and all your friends too. I don't think cats can come any more loving and snuggle friendly than Ace. I adopted him form a local rescue, he was picked over form a prior adoption event. All of his kitten friends got adopted but this little snuggle bug was not adopted because his fur was black. WHAT You did not get adopted out because you were a black kitten?!?!?! Cuteness = Check Personality = Check Playful = Check Friendly = Check Healthy = Check Loving = Check Young = Check Litter Trained = Check What more can you want form a kitten? I'm really glad he was picked over, because I got to adopt him! I was sold when his little paw reached out to me when I walked close to his cage, then he looked up and made a soft 'me-ooou??' sound. Have you seen his copper/orange eyes? Oh and his whiskers are crimped, so he may be part wirehair. His underfur is also a little crimped, just slightly making him look puffed and not slick and smooth like Nadia or Kiva. Ace and his crazy kitten behavior (ie running, jumping, climbing "binking" like the rabbits) has brought Nadia out of her shy shell. They get along great, kitty wrestle, and pounce on invisible objects together - but honestly Nadia is so care free she would be happy hanging out with a loaf of bread. Ace likes to be held like a baby in your arms and if you scratch his head he melts, enjoys belly rubs and likes to play tag.

Aw, he's gorgeous!!! I love black cats, and find it so hard to believe there are still people in first world countries, who are superstitiously afraid of black cats. I think they are the most beautiful!!! I'm so glad you gave him a forever home!

LOL - My Charlie cat would wave a paw at what you were eating, then wave in front of his mouth as if to say "I want that...to be put here" - LOL he was so funny!
Ace had double fangs for a few days, his adult teeth cam in next to his baby teeth - ouch, that must have hurt - it looked very odd and i wish I took a photo, but its not easy to hold a camera and a kittens mouth open! lol He lost his baby teeth, so he is growing fast - he is getting bigger, but still very compact and solid.
Another weird thing about Ace is that he is not shedding...is that odd? I brush him and pet him and snuggle him and there is no cat fur all over me or in the brush. Guess I shouldn't complain!
I'll have more photos soon!

Aw, glad he's past the baby teeth. One set is more than enough! I've never had an animal that doesn't shed, myself included, so it seems unusual. Maybe it's baby coat v. adult coat? Haven't had a kitten in SO long!

same here...my kitten is now 15! Nadia sheds - lovely white furs on your dark clothing. If you pick up a bun you will be infused with black rabbit fur, all it take is one pat on Mushkas head and you are slathered in yellow fur, Indy is almost as bad, and if you think you are safe petting super short haired Zuul you are wrong!
So when my peach colored sweater is not ingrained with black fur after a hearty snuggle of Ace it seems odd.

I gave up caring about the hair long ago, and just wear it proudly. If I'm going someplace dressy, I wear a smock over my clothes to catch the hair. Just going with the flow

I picked up Fat Bunny this morning and had her traced in my lap as I pet her to calm her down after her escape adventure. When I put her back I think I was just as furry as she is!

I have mostly white pigs and mostly dark clothes. Picking up a pig leaves as much hair on me as on them

Silvie has a convenient mix of white hair and dark - so it doesn't matter what I wear, I'm always covered! I've given up caring too - if I'm hairy then I'm hairy!

If you want people to stop making negative comments, smile and start naming the hairs. This one is Morty, and this one is Mia. That one is Momo... Same effect as endless pics of the grand kids!!!
