The gardener's pie recipe is low fodmap as it is, provided you use the leek green only. It uses garlic infused oil, not garlic. So you should be good to go! It says 1/4 of the dish is a low fodmap serving.
Glad Lesley appreciated her spoils!

I've been practicing with my Instant Pot. Summer heat just doesn't entice me to cook a lot of things, even if I could cook it outside in the slow cooker or Instant Pot. I made an old slow cooker recipe, and it came out great in the Instant Pot. I have a few other non-pressure cooker recipes I want to try translating to work in the Instant Pot, and I just got the cutest little Bundt pan for the Instant Pot, so have to figure out how to bake with it. Bundt pans are also good for making Monkey Bread, so I might try that. Hubby wants me to make lasagna, and I want to try a pork butt for pulled pork. Lots of Instant Pot cooking ahead, once the temps drop again Also made low FODMAP bread crumbs. We buy sourdough bread, real sourdough bread, and I've been saving the heals and freezing them for a few months. I toasted them and ran them through the food processor, so I have low FODMAP bread crumbs Hubby, who has Crohn's, said he feels much better on the low FODMAP diet, and wants to stay with it, so everything I can make helps. Buying low FODMAP foods is ridiculously expensive.

It certainly can be, especially if you buy the alternate products rather than just swapping things. The main thing I buy is non-wheat pastas, and a bunch of the supermarkets massively dropped the prices of their own brands of those recently. But there's no getting away from the fact that many of these alternatives are simply more expensive to produce.
Monkey bread sounds interesting - I love pecans. I did some baking for the weekend, and despite scaling back the quantities to compensate for us having one less mouth to feed, I ended up sharing some with a friend as there was more than we were going to get through while it was super fresh. I think my son probably ate about half of whatever I made!
