Yes pampers are known to cause Nappy rash It's terrible they are given out In hospital as they are no good for young babies at all. They are too scented. Cotton wool and water Is best but time consuming. If you need wipes , when your out for the day try cheapy ones Treen. I found them alot better than any of the expensive ones when It comes to causing nappy rash.
What did you use to clear him ? I found bathing them and leaving them have a long soak worked wonders and sudocrem Is very good

I dont like Desitin that much . Have you seen the Buttpaste or Buttbalm (LOL) thats exactly what it's called! Oatmeal baths (not the kind you eat) usually help some with rashes. But the best thing I think is fresh air! If you have enough towels that is! Boys tend to get pp everywhere!! A&D ointment is ok and Calmoseptine, but you have to ask for it at the pharmacy they don't sell it over the counter.

Its really nice for skin rashes. I got into poison something or another and got a pretty bad rash and I went and got some and my fiancee laughed at me to no end!! He said I smelt like Butts. (well the ointment not an actual butt, but (hee-hee) you now what he meant!!)

Anyone have any advice for cleaning shower curtains? Over the last year or so ours has gone all yucky, 'cos one of my housemates never straightens it out when she's had a shower. *rolls eyes*
