My goodness, those pigs are grubby! The boys with their manky willies and even mankier anal sacks (especially Luigi, his is huge, fits all sorts of debris in), Winnie who pooed in the water and Macy with ears you could grow potatoes in, not to mention that hair!

Walking science experiments, lol. No problems with the boy bits since changing to fleece. I will probably do summer baths once the weather warms up. The annual bath Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

This wasn't baths, just butt dunks. And the boys are on fleece but still seem to gather all sorts in their anal sacks. Rory doesn't seem to suffer so much so I wonder if it's worse if they're unneuetered.
The threesome are off to the vets for a few days this week whilst I'm away so I'll ask them to have a quick look at Macy's ears, make sure they're OK. They don't smell so I don't think they're infected!

Good question about the neutering aspect. I've had neutered boars for years, now, but found the problems stopped for the unneutered boars, too.

How old are your boys weesilvie?
These are the first unneutered boys I've had in a long while and whilst I haven't had too much to do so far, I do occasionally have to liberate something from Cadders' bottom which is a fragrant job! I know my neutered boys had the occasional impaction when they were older and can remember my unneutered boy having a few issues, but my memory is sketchy on whether it was through his whole life or just when he was an old boy.
I definitely notice the whole scent marking thing happens a lot more in unneutered boys though, so wonder if that bum-dragging behaviour makes gathering gubbins more likely? Also (sorry for TMI) but after they're neutered they don't seem to do that grim thing with their bottoms when they're rumblestrutting - they sort of open them up for maximum scent-spreading. I bet all that makes a difference as to what can get in too!
Never really had to do anything with willies besides gently freeing a bit of hay that's been taken inside! I don't think I've actually ever encountered boar glue?!
Is it Winnie's op this week? Fingers and toes will be crossed here for all to go smoothly.

Luigi is probably about 1 or just under and Marco between 1 and 2. Rory is now 6!
I can do TMI too. Luigi's seems large and slack, easy to get a wee finger in to clear out. Marco's slightly less so. Rory's is much tighter and more difficult to get into! Thankfully Rory hasn't yet suffered with implication, mainly things stuck in his willy. Rory rumbles more than the young boys but I haven't yet really noticed any real difference in bum-dragging frequency, except that they all do it!
Yes, Winnie's surgery is Friday, thanks for the good wishes :-)

A finger?! A well oiled cotton bud is the extend of my daring! It's good for getting the lubrication into the crannies too, to free something that's a little stuck...
Ah I think together we'd be great conversationalists at dinner parties?!

I do it with their butts in very slightly soapy water - a sink full with just a tiny spot of GG shampoo in it. Seems to do the trick. Washes all the important bits without the trauma of a whole bath!

Far TMI, I had to do it with stewpot a couple of times and used a cotton bud!! It's definitely not got the faint hearted. Ollie was a neutered boar as well xx

Sorry Glittze haha!
Yeah, I don't have especially small hands weesilvie, so the boys are definitely best off with cotton buds!

They are home :-) Apart from moving around a little less than usual, Winnie is behaving like nothing has happened!

That is great news love, when a little one is poorly, we are expecting the worst all the time and does make us slightly paranoid as you say.
