So, Alfonz has surpassed puberty as of January, he is pretty fantastic with the other two piggy boys for the most part.
until recently. Marbles has hit puberty......why did I get males? I ask myself lol. I love them, soooo much, but the other night they got so bad I had to put up a barrier, which Alfonz took down, so I put up another barrier, which Marbles then took down. I added an extra water bottle.......all these things, and still they rip around the cage squeaking. They WILL NOT allow me to separate them, because they are the BFFS of all time, but, they dont want to share, and they dont want to snuggle, and they cant have any houses at night time lol.

Oh geez! Is this typical of all males when they hit puberty?
Best of luck that the boys and you come thru quickly!

Sounds familiar. Probably best to put a water bottle and food bowl at each end, hay in the middle, and nothing else. I figured that out too late for my last two boys, but would do it in the future, and see if it works. Good luck.

Thats what I did piggles. They refuse to be separated though, they adore each other lol. They just also hate each other at the same time.

My LG went through a phase of trying to block everyone from the kitchen loft. I put another loft at the other end of the cage, and she'd rin from loft to loft trying to block both. She finally gave up and started behaving again. The boys will probably sort out, too.

lol.
Alfonz lets Marbles eat, but he likes to chase him around the cage ceaselessly when there are houses in there, so I have put a stop to houses lol

How funny as the opposite is true of mine - if there are no hideys then Cadders chases Josh relentlessly and bedding flies everywhere. When there are hideys, Josh going out of sight means he's out of Cadders' consciousness and it all eases up massively. Also, Josh just jumps on top of a box (with only room for one) when he's had enough which usually puts a stop to the circuits (and he then proceeds to purr and wiggle his bottom to wind Cadders up again!).
My boys sound a bit less frantic than yours though - there's never any squeaking at each other, and Josh certainly doesn't seem bothered by being endlessly pursued! Boys eh?!

Oh man.
My boys amuse the poop out of me.
Alfonz and Marbles are in the same cage as most of you know. Its a 3x4 C&C cage, they have two hay bins, two water bottles and two food bowls. They no longer have houses, and I put toys in there for them to be happy to have something to play with. They honestly get along well enough aside from when I try putting houses in there lol, then it turns to hell in a hand basket. Alfonz adores Marbles, he hates being away from him, and vice versa, honestly.
Jellybean is all on his own, beside Alfonz and Marbles, and none of them ever get along. I love my piggy boys, all the time, they keep me so happy.

Have you tried putting in houses with an opening in both ends? That may help. It's odd as usually having a house each tends to help so they can get away from one another if they feel the need xx

My boys amuse the poop out of me. Interesting mental imagery there! I always laugh at my two when they're eating - say I put a big bowl of greens and veg in, whoever takes something first, the other one will always attempt to take that bit from his mouth rather than picking something from the bowl! It goes on like that with them both pinching from the other one throughout the meal - probably convinced the other one has the best bit. Even if you put two lots of food in and usher them into different places, they'll still choose to congregate around one bowl and keep stealing from one another, and then both go to the second one together and carry on. Nincompoops, that's what they are!

Ha ha, I always have to make sure that some food is on the entrance between the living room and bedroom, otherwise greedy Lacy eats it all and poor Darcy gets nothing LOL!!

I like when mine try to run into the pigloo with a treat, and get it stuck at the door Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk We have this problem with Charlie and green pepper slices! He will try to go in the front door a few times. Then he gives up, drops the pepper at the front door, then goes in the side door! Then he sits there and eats the pepper half in and half out until the pepper is small enough to pull in the house.

I' found out in error that if you turn an pigloo upside down full of Hay, Piggles will munch some and then lie in comfort and rest. Great way of keeping the run clean as they poo and pee in their 'bed' and it collects in the bottom. Think I'll buy 9 and put them in a row ha, ha! Xx

Haha! Two or three kitty litter boxes probably work better. Our pigloos aren't flat on the ceilings, so flipping catches all the mess in hard to clean places.
